Leo is peeing/pooping in my sister's house My wonderful sister :angel2: has been watching Leo:aimeeyork (at her house in Oregon), while we went to Hawaii for spring break. This is the second time she has watched him for us. I called Monday to check on him, she said that Leo has been having accidents in her house... the whole time he has been there....15 days:eek: !! He has not used his potty pad once:confused: ! I feel just terrible:o! I offered to have the carpets cleaned of course. But is there anything else I can do? Maybe a box of Chocolates and a note. I will be picking him up tomorrow. |
O, it is nice of you to offer to get the carpets cleaned, a box of chocolates would be nice to. Lily also has accidents when she stays at other peoples homes wonder why they do this? |
Teddi does this at my brothers house too even if I am there and take her out a bunch of times. For some reason she likes to go under their pool table and pee. Luckily at my parents house she knows where to go but they have wood floors throughout so I think she looks for her pad which is always on their fireplace hearth - that's where I put it the first time I brought her over there so she knows that place. One time I didn't even put a pad down and she went right over there and pooped so she knows where it is supposed to be. It's just so hard to be mad at them!! :p |

I live in the Bay area (CA) and my sister lives in Portalnd (Oregon). So we don't see her to often 2 or 3 times a year. Leo and I flew together to my sister's and I did spend one night there, getting him all set up. I guess I should have stayed another day or two. Thankfully, she loves dogs and is very understanding that accidents happen. I just feel bad! He was doing so good at home. He hadn't had an accident in a long while. |

I'd say you have a good heart and know how to give gratitude. Ask your sister nicely on what she thinks she wants out of the carpet accidents. Maybe she want Leo to stay one more week ;) |
