What kind do you have and where did you get?

And if you don't mind, how much did you pay? I'm thinking about getting one. Are they easy to set up? I'm not the best at setting up anything computer related!

Hallee gets into everything. We used to have cam on here. She would be in the computer room while we are away and DH would set up our computer cam so he could keep an eye on her. We did ours through Yahoo messenger to view.

Is a pet cam the same thing as a regular web cam?

Yea and when I go out of town I can keep an eye on the house and my cats :) I think you can get up to four of them, I would like another one.

I got a cheap one from Amazon. You can use a regular, standard web cam.

ETA: I think it was $30 or so.

I use a Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000. My dad got it for me from best buy for christmas...it was like $50. I have it hooked up to my desktop computer and I use www.mypetcams.com to turn it on and then I can just sign in and watch it from any computer anywhere and see what my babies are doin. Which is usually just sleeping. Lol. But its soo cute...apparently everytime they hear a noise they perk up and go stand at the baby gate waiting for me to come thru the door...but if its not me they will eventually give up and go lay back down. Its kinda sad sometimes...the thought of them hearing something and gettin their hopes up that its me when its not. :( I love my webcam and I love www.mypetcams.com it is sooo easy to use! and very convenient (sorry dunno how to spell that lol). I definitely recommend gettin one and using that site. The only problem I have ever had is when I take my laptop on campus I cant use it via the wireless to see them b/c the wireless the campus has blocks some stuff since its for "school use" lol. But any other computer I can see it, and any other wireless or any connection I can see them!!!:thumbup:
