Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Winston's Mom gave me the instruction to sew :) So I tried... This is the first one I made. Well.... I made mistakes on pleats and I was just so in hurry to take photos so some threads have to be cut. It looks okay for the first time. Yes I have tried sewing before but I thinking I am getting it so hopefully I can make better dresses...

Well, you did a pretty good job for the first time. It that denim? That's pretty ambitious. Pat yourself on the back for that one!

Yes it is denim. I am not good at sewing at all... but I am just adventurous. I am learning from some mistakes...

Good for you. Learning by doing is a great way to learn. I also taught myself to sew many years ago. Of course my mother was an excellent seamstress, so I could look at her things and take thought also. She had no patience to teach any of her children though.:rolleyes:

Just keep practicing and soon, you will have a darling little wardrobe and have learned to fine tune your technique.:) :thumbup:

I tried to sew a long time ago and realized it was definitely not for me. The only thing I do sew is buttons, and that's because they are easy! lol :D

Wow, I'm impressed, I think making small things can be harder than big things because the detail is so evident, but you did a great job, and of course she's gorgeous, are you going to make you a matching outfit? Now, that would be neat!

I have been wanting to learn myself, but have yet to buy a sewing machine.
Might I ask which kind you use?
