Buddy Belt Users
 
I would like to try a Buddy Belt and see if Murphy cannot find a way out of it. There are some on ebay for a good price. I cannot decide on the size. Size 3 Chest 12-14 dog's weight 4-8 lbs. Size 4 chest 14-16 dog'sweight 8-12 lbs.

Murphy chest is 13 1/2 and he weighs about 7 1/2 lbs.

I think the size 3 is the size to go. I know that leather gets soft as it is worn and he is an escape artist. What size do your yorkies wear? Should I get a size 3? Thanks for your help.

I would go with the size 3. Murphy should not be able to get out of that.

He wont get out of a Buddy Belt, i got about 6 of them ;)

Joey's about 12 inches and he wears a size 3. We usually keep it in the middle notch, which really isn't very snug. There are 2 more notches on either side. Sometimes when he wears a sweatshirt hoodie with the harness on the outside we go down a notch. So I think size 3 should work for you. I looked at e-bay, when I was shopping for one, but it seemed like they had every size besides the size 3. Their prices were great and some even came with a leash. If you can't find one there, here's the link that had the best price when I was looking. http://www.4weebeasties.com/index.ph...&id=7&Itemid=7 I can't tell you how much I love mine, it's so much better looking on a yorkie than the dogs they show.

Thanks everyone for our help. I am going to get the size 3. I decided not to get the one I saw on ebay. It did not look like the original Buddy Belt. I want to get the original so it will be a good quality leather. I think I will order from metropawlistpetboutique. I signed up for their newsletter. You get 25% off an item in the month of your dog's birthday. Murphy's birthday is Thursday. The price will be $30 + tax, if I get the newsletter within the next few days. If not I will go with 4weebeaeties. Both these places had the lowest prices.

Actually, I think their price has gone down since I ordered them, I think it use to be around $54.00 at metropawlistpetboutique because, I paid more than 40 at 4webeaeties. One thing I didn't like about 4weebeaeties is it took over 2 months to get it, she kept saying it was on back order. I think I'll sign up for the newsletter from metropawlistpetboutique!
