When I went last night she didn't seem to be doing as well as that morning.

I am going again this morning to see if she will eat...

I am so sorry, I was hoping there would be more progress. I should tell you, many, many years ago, I had a Maltese, Tasha, who was attacked by 2 German Shepherds (also not leashed). She had a long and complicated surgery to repair the multiple wounds. Although it took a really long time, she did recover and lived a full life to the grand old age of 16 years (9 years beyond this incident). There is hope. These little ones are amazingly resilient. Just don't give up.

P.S. Remember, it is not just the physical trauma she is getting over, but the horrific emotional one as well. She needs tons of love and reassurance besides the obvious medial care. Visit her as often as possible. That is what my parents and I did at the time with Tasha. The vet said this helped almost more than anything.:)

I don't know how I missed this thread but I am just now seeing it. You and Jinny are in my prayers. I know how terrifying this is.

Almost a year ago, A.J was attacked by my BF's parents black lab. We had went there to visit, just gotten out of the vehicle with A.J and their dog almost immediatly, with no warning dove and attacked him! He kept shaking A.J...Blake had to tackle the dog just to get A.J out of his mouth! It was horrible. Luckily, A.J wasn't seriously hurt, just 3 lacerations on his front shoulder. But, to this day, he still winces if we touch the scars.

Spend every minute possible with Jinny, show her how much you love her and keep reassuring her that everything will be alright. :hug:

Oh my goodness, I am so sorry! :( I am just now seeing this thread but I sure do hope that your sweet little baby is doing better today. I will be keeping her in my thoughts and prayers :hands:

Just seeing this and it breaks my heart !! Praying that your baby recovers and recovers quickly and my prayers go out to you as well for you to stay strong and know that it will all be okay
I hope the owners of the Lab are going to pay the vet bills:(
