This is weird! Y'all are gonna think I've lost my mind, but here goes:laugh: On several occasions, in the past few months, I've been "seeing" my deceased baby Starr. Always out of the corner of my eye, just a flash, but I KNOW it's her, I can feel her there. It only happens when Luna and Izzy aren't here (at the groomers, or with Daddy). I do still talk to her all the time, when I'm alone of course so my family doesn't have me committed:laugh: I just wonder if she is still "with us" and why she isn't at Rainbow Bridge or Heaven or whatever:( Okay, you can call me crazy, I accept that fact:p |
nope your not crazy at all. Our babies have little beautiful souls that I'm sure can pop in and visit. Just my personal belief of course!! (It's happened to me too) |
Thanks:) It's good to know that someone else has experienced this. I almost think I'm losing it sometimes:eek: |
our kj is still around sometimes.. either that or he comes to visit us.. chippy and rocky randomly bark at nothing sometimes.. and then we hear his claws clacking in the kitchen when we're walking around at night.. it's not really scary.. more of a comforting.. and i still talk to him too.. and i miss him dearly.. |
You are NOT crazy at all! I had to put my cat down after 18 years in October and every once in awhile I swear I see him walk past! I first I thought it was creepy but now I just chuckle and say "Hello Spikey, are you just passing by!";) |
I don't think it's silly either. Max sits for ages staring into a corner of our bedroom, and there's nothing to see. I think he sees my guardian angel. |
You are not crazy at all! I believe it's true but i still get freaked out by it lol We had to put our dog Charlie to sleep, it was in 2001 i think. The other day my mom goes "You know Charlie Visits me" I'm like wha??? She goes "Oh yea he was here the other night when you were at Edward's, i heard him under the bed" (when he was here he used to sleep under her bed.) Anyway that totally freaked me out. She said she feels him around and that made me wonder if that is why Sophie barks sometimes at nothing. The other 2 don't bark but they are naturally friendly with all dogs, Sophie isn't. Since she doesn't know Charlie I assume that is why she barks. It also scared me 'cause one night about 1 yr ago i was half asleep in my room and i could have SWORN i heard Charlie's footsteps! I swear! You know how all dogs sound diff. when they walk? Like atleast mine do, they all sound diff., well Charlie had problems with his legs and used to drag his feet. Well i heard his feet dragging towards my door, then it stopped. I never mentioned it to anyone and just thought that was me hearing things but now that my mom said that it got me thinking LOL Sooo no you're not crazy. Oh and also on Youtube there are pictures of ghost dogs...so i guess they do still linger around. |
I totaly believe that.. It's kinda like how people do.. I have never had a pet come visit me.. But Family yes.. My Mom tells me they will as long as it doesn't upset you.. Like her Dad will only visit with her once in a while because she cries when he does.. They don't wanna upset you but if your they type like it sounds most of you are then they will visit often because they miss you just as much as you miss them.. I have always believed this.. Maybe I'm just crazy  |
My sister lost a beautiful Golden Retreiver. She later tripped over her. About 6 weeks after she was at the bridge. |
Yor are not crazy,i lived with my sister for about a year and her dog layla a peekapoo and i got real close i was going through a hard time and she was there for me that whole year, her health was failing so my brother in law put her down and my sister in i heard her all the time going up and down the stairs and at night she would once everyone was in bed go around and check on everyone it lasted about three months and we did not hear her anymore. I think she was making sure everyone was ok and then she crossed the bridge once she was ready.:rbyorkie: |
I don't think you are crazy at all! Last year we had to have our 20 yr old Bichon put to sleep. As she got older she spent most of her time sleeping in mom's room, with the door shut so the other dogs wouldn't bother her. Everytime I would walk down the hall, I would go in and check on her, and sit down with her and love on her for awhile. After she died it took me a few weeks to break the habit, everytime I walked down the hall out of habit I would reach for the door knob to go in and check on her, then I would catch myself and realize she wasn't there. A few weeks after Poppy died, mom started letting Schatzie sleep in the bed with her, and my habit went away and i haven't done it in a long time. Well lastweek when Schatzie was at the vet, three times that day I would be walking down the hall and reach for the doorknob, its been almost a year so by now I should be used to not doingthat. But I think while Schatzie was gone for the day, Poppy was popping back in just to say hello. I felt her prescence when I did go in the room. So yes, I think our babies do pop in from time to time to say hello and let us know they are still very much with us. |
I don't think your crazy at all. I believe you. Sylvia Browne, the physic (?spelling) is writing a new book about pets who have passed on and how they communicate with us still. I can't wait till her book comes out to buy it. Take Care.... |

When I hear of these things it makes me feel good. I hope to have visits from my babies after they have passed on. I see it as a positive thing... |
My cat, Rebel passed away a little over a year ago. She was very old and had been my best friend for 18 years. She helped me through the passing of my father, mother and husband all in a three year time span. She also helped me through my OVCA diagnosis and much much more. When she passed it was like a hole in my heart and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of her and miss her, but I swear some days that she never left. Sometimes out of the corner of my eye I see her and some times I can actually hear her meow. I thought I was loosing it there for a while, but others have told me that they have had similar experiences with the passing of a beloved pet and my furbabies seem to stare at certain areas ... and there is nothing there. I'm happy to hear it, but mostly I am happy to know that she is not completely gone ...... |

I beleive! We lost our "family" pet about 10 years ago... Sandy was a lab, lived behind me at my brothers... when it stormed, she would get out and come to my house to hide in my flower bed(her ball still sits there) and now, when it storms, I feel her there, and could swear that I have seen her there... she looks over us.... My TBone who we lost almost a year ago, I still hear his paws on the floor and look for him when I count pups... d |

So...I'm curious How was the show and what did he ask her? (if you don't mind sharing) |

Bless your heart, you've been through so much. For quite a while after our Chessie, Chloe died, I thought I heard her tags jingle on her collar. |
Wow, you are not crazy, you are blessed. Your baby is still around you, I find that touching. |

You can't get much closer than one's heart.....:heart to |
I never have had anything like this happen to me, but when I go in the corner where my lab's bed was for so many years I think of him and it brings me back to when he was alive and sleeping on his bed. I spent lots of time with him while he was on that bed petting him and talking to him. |
It's so awesome that some of you have your passed on loves visiting you too! I confessed this to my hubby last night and he said that sometimes he thinks she's around too, but didn't want to sound loony:laugh: She was only with us for three years but will ALWAYS be in our hearts:love: I'm glad that she is around, but at the same time I worry that she's not resting in peace and hope that she's not upset at us for getting two more pups. I miss her so much! |
Oh after reading this thread it makes me feel so good:) I tell you thou now I am a little freaked out because my baby is growling non stop looking at the empty space right now:eek:   He keeps on walking towards that space and back looking at it growling and tries to smell something in the air. |
If you are crazy then i guess alot of us are. I know my Chiquita still comes and sees me. Like you i catch her out of the corner of my eye and she is in my dreams all the time. And like you i talk to her alot. So no nobody is crazy our babies spirits do come and visit once their bodies have left this world. |
