size in matter of sex Just a curious Q's. I have been told that males in general can be bigger sized than females. I had wanted a female but just the male was available and of course he stole my heart. So in any one's experience is there a difference? :animal36 |
To my knowledge, that isn't true (someone correct me if I'm wrong, LOL). There are both males and females of all different shapes and sizes. There are very small male Yorkies, and very small female Yorkies. It all just depends on the dog itself. |
I also agree that there can be many sizes and shapes of either gender. My little Rascal is 2lb at 3mo. I was told by the breeder that he would be about 3 1/2 to 4lbs full grown. |
Within the same litter the males are usually larger than the females. And the weight will still vary...it doesn't necessarily mean they will be several pounds more. I have a male and a female...when a third is added, it'll be a male. Males get short changed alot I think...but after owning males...they are really my preference. |
my baby was the only one of his litter. |
