Unfortunatly Adie has started a new ritual. It is called wake everyone up at 3:30AM every morning. Actually I think someone in the neighborhood is up and doing something she can hear and she barks at it. But she does tell time. She run to the back of the couch and starts looking out the window every day at 5:10PM. :animal37 She is watching for me to get home from work. The funny thing is that she does that on Saturday and Sunday too! LOL She will actually jump over me on the couch to get to the window. :questione |

Everyday when I go to work, Rascal rearranges his pen. I always put his pottypad, bed and food placemat in the same place, and everyday when I come home he has moved all three to a new location (always the same place everyday.) Maybe I should just leave it where he has moved it. I can't, it is the OCD in me. |
Ok, here's TJs It all started about 1.5 yrs ago, he is now 3 yo - anyway, TJ likes to stick his nose in between things and snort in air. When it first started, he would do this snorting once in a blue moon. He mostly did it with pillows. Then he started to do it every night when we got into bed, it was his nightly thing. Snorting air by sticking his nose in between pillow and blankets. Then he started to do it at other times too. He will stick his nose under the foam ramp up to the couch to snort air, he will stick his nose to snort air from your pocket, he will even lie down my stomach and stick his nose in my pants to snort air - it is quite hilarious - but what's even more funny is that about 30 seconds after he is done with his 'snorting' he lets out a HUGE - BURP  And now the little piggy is sucking in so much air from snorting that not only does he BURP - but his little hiney whistles the whole time while snorting. And, it gets better....sometimes he sucks in so much air that not only does he burp and whistle from his hiney, but all that snorting air sometimes makes him have to poop ASAP - it is so funny to see him snort, fart, burp and then RUN for the wee wee pad to let out a Lincoln Log  |
 this is very funny..... My little girl does a few: One thing is when I feed her, as soon as I say "want some foods jeanie (everthing I say to her has an s on it for some reason)..." she starts to whine and run around the house looking for the cat. She has to tell the cat it's eating time and to stay away. Then when sufficient notice has been given, she comes to me and sits at where her dish "will" be....but isn't yet. So she looks down and up to me and then down and up ............like "ok come on". It's so cute! She always greets me with her squirrel.........and places it at my feet. As soon as I come in the house, it's play time, ALWAYS! She plays different with Daddy than Mommy. With Daddy she always brings him the squirrel and leaves it for him to throw...with me she likes to play tuggy (that's kind of been taught though because Daddy won't tug. BUT she knows who she's playing with always and what she should be doing). Every morning I am greeted and she is happy, but after the blow drying is done and I start to walk down the hallway she usually greets me at, she runs and hides. BECAUSE she knows her hair is going to be brushed..........and she doesn't like it EVEN THOUGH I always give her lots of loves and a treat. She doesn't want to have anything to do with it. Starting at 11:30 AM everyday she sits at the window waiting for the dog walker...........(I can see her on my pet cam) That's all I can think of now....just too cute all of it! |

Glad to see mine is not the only OCD doggie on here:p Lily has some quirks....every day when she hears the bus come she is off to the windows to look for my girls coming in then she runs around the house making circles like a jack rabbit! She distinctly knows the sound of my husbands diesel car coming down the street. (There's another one just like it in the neighborhood, if it goes by without stopping she just gets all confused about why her Daddy didn't stop) She has a habit of trying to nip your feet when you are walking...this drives me crazy:( Everymorning during my morning shower routine she is in the same exact place in a recliner in my bedroom just like clockwork She has a favorite pillow she lays upon on the couch, only the side with the suede not the fur, she promptly wants to be in her spot around 8:30 and God forbid someone is laid out in her space. She will pace at the bottom of the couch and sit and whine, whine, whine! |
My little Elvis likes to run like the wind thru the house just before we turn in for the night. His ears are flattened and he's hauling your know what! It's so funny. Plus my granddog, Harley, watched a werewolf movie and he knew who the werewolf was in human form, he always growled or barked at him when that human form came on the screen. :aimeeyork |
Bella knows when it is time to go to bed at night. She has a bed in the family room. For such a long time she was not allowed on the couch. She knows she can only get on the couch if the quilt is on it. if the quilt is not there she gets on my lap. At night, like now, my dh and i are on the couch watching tv. Bella is in the middle on the quilt. When it is time to go to bed I say 'night night Bella' and she jumps off the couch and goes to her bed. If we turn off the tv, she will also jump down and go to ther bed. of course as soon as we turn out bedroom light off...she is right back on the couch. We can her her nails on the hard floor.! Her going to her bed is all for show!! |

Not sure if it is ritual or just smart. No matter how wired she is, the second I put PJs on Gracie she crashes! |
Zeus has to have back scratches everynight before we go to sleep. We get into bed, cover up, zeus hops onto daddys chest and waits. If daddy isn't there, I'm good enough to give the scratches. When Zeus gets excited he starts to circle. But when he circles it's only clockwise circles, never counterclockwise. So we say he's right handed. Augie can't jump onto the couch yet, he's too small. The couch has a recliner at each end, 1 mine, the other is hubbys. So if he wants up we have to put the foot part of the recliner down enough so he can hop on and take a ride up to the couch. I work nights and get out at midnight, so I don't go to bed till about 2am. Augie gets up every morning between 9am-10am to go pee, poop, eat & poop again, then we can go back to bed. But at about 1am after I get home from work, he gets tired and goes into his cage and goes to sleep till I put him in his basket. Then he chews on his blue nubby bone till he gets tired again. |
