Throwing up Just curious ... do your furbabies throw up occasionally out of the blue. I am wondering why Kiki does this. I know she isn't sick because she has been inside most of the winter but like today, she just threw up on the carpet and then ate her breakfast. A couple weeks ago, she threw up one time as well but doesn't really act sick. I vaccum every day so she won't eat anything she isn't supposed to. I know she licks herself a lot .. maybe she just has a piece of hair stuck in her throat?? Or is it just a small dog thing? Thanks for any responses. Anna www.dogster.com/dogs/511397 |
Have you changed food or done anything different? I wouldn't be too quick to dismiss even the occasional throwing up as being ok. My little girl had a problem back before the dog food contamination came to light and I just thought that it wasn't frequent enough to be of concern. Turns out a lot of people were having the same problem and it was because of bad dog food. Luckily, mine hadn't eaten that much of the bad dog food and it didn't actually kill her. Once I found out there was a dog food contamination problem I changed over to human food for about a month until I was SURE the contamination problem had been resolved. When I changed the throwing up stopped. |
Yeah, it might be the food. I had a problem with my fur-baby too.. so I changed him to human food as well til I could settle on a good food with no problems. |

Kiki has been on the same food since last year but I think I will ask her vet today when she goes in for her routine checkup. Thank you. Anna |
