I getting there... I have been trying to talk my boyfriend into a 3rd Yorkie about since the day after we got Tucker. And the answer has always been - NO! Well, yesterday I kept emailing him pictures of Yorkie puppies with a comment - Can we PLEASE get another one??? Well, last night's answer was - how much money are would it cost?? Where would we find a breeder? and a few other questions. The answer was still no, but I feel like I'm breaking through! |
Way to go Biddy's Mom!! Sounds like you are wearing him down 1 picture-filled email at a time. :D |

That's a great idea - a win/win situation! |
I am soooooo wanting another. My husband says no too, but if I find my red female,,,,,,,,, I told him I am not really looking but if she comes I will have to jump at the chance!!! |

Yeah, I've been hinting to my bf too, but his answer is "no"! I do what another one, but if I get another one I won't be able to take them both with me as much as I plan on taking Deegan (after his thrid set of shots). But keep on him, sounds like he's going to cave any day now. Good luck! |
Honestly - I think he wants another one. We've been together for almost 9 years & I know his games. He wants another one, but he wants me to beg for it so that he can be the hero when he gives in & he won't have to be responsible for it because it was my decision, blah, blah, blah... Let's face it, folks. I'm getting another one! |
Lucky! I just don't have the initial purchase money, but otherwise I totally would. |

Oh yeah - I forgot about the money...a mere technicality!! |

I just got my hubby to agree to the second one. Of course it was too late to get the one I had in mind, but I am at the top of the breeders wait list for females. Hubby now understands I must jump at the chance when the next is available. Now it's just a matter of waiting. Having patience is sooo hard. Julie |

Good luck with your bf! Just do what I did. We already have 3 dogs, various breeds and ages, and my husband said ABSOLUTELY NO MORE DOGS! Well, I had the opportunity to get my Yorkie, I'd been kinda looking for 6mos, and I just did it. I had the money saved so he didn't have anything to say about that. He gave me the cold shoulder for a couple weeks, but the dog worked his magic, how can anyone not think a Yorkie is adorable?? You have to kinda work in some things that will appeal to him. For example, I named my Yorkie Indiana and I told hubby that he could call him Indy 500 because he absolutely loves all the car races. That kinda broke the ice with him, but he informed me that Indy was too small for 500 race, looked more like a short track racer. Now he calls him Short Track and really likes him. |

Aw - that's too cute. He really loves our 2 - he talked baby talk and everything (he would kill me if he knew I posted that!!). He can't be too mad! |
