dog shoes? does anyone really put shoes on their dog? i think bell might need them, she goes hiking and stuff with us sometimes.. but do they really fit their little paws? |
i personally have a hard time finding ones that fit properly but they stay on nevertheless.. i dont think ive seen any for the really tiny ones yet in our area there are alot of prickly thingies (seeds?) on the ground/grass that get caught in the paws and cause bleeding/pain, so shoes are a godsend ;) |
I tried a pair for Lily but she could hardly walk in them..she hated them! They were really small (short) though and she could get them off easily. I have seen ones that go further up on the leg and velcro so I think they might work. I would try them, especially if you take her hiking and such. |
I was thinking of getting Jeter some, his little feet get so cold in the snow. He also got rock salt in between his pads on his little feet and he was limping, took us a while to figure out what was wrong. G.W.Little has some very small ones on sale right now that I was going to get him. |
The ones that look like little shoes are not that comfortable for them. Try the soft ones instead. I got the girls some to have for when we go up to Alaska (which could be anytime or never now) and got them at J-B wholesale http://www.jbpet.com/index.php?main_...roducts_id=540 |
I have shoes for both of my girls when i put them on Tia my youngest she just acts like no big deal they are normal but Emma my oldest walks funny for the first 5-10 mins. |

I tried soft boots in the snow this winter and Addie walked very funny and was working so hard to get them off, let us know if you find some to work. I don't know if she would still like them though :( |
