WHISPERSMOM'S RB Jesse & his sister 4 Attachment(s) I'm POSTING these pictures for Rini....Whispersmom2....She wanted to show the differences in looks of 2 littermates - Jesse, her little angel is in Rainbow Bridge....he was just PRECIOUS....and the other picture is his sister....Jesse's sister now lives with a family who lost their yorkie to Kidney Disease. I was so sad doing these pictures of Jesse - Rini has the picture titled "Jesse's Last Glance". Jesse went to RB at a very young age with a respritory problem and I can STILL hear the anguish in Rini when she talks about him. WHAT A FACE he had ! These babies are full brother and sister, Rini wanted to show people how different 2 puppies, from the same litter, can actually look grown up. Jesse - FIRST 2 pictures Jesse's Sister - LAST 2 pictures |

Jesse There was only one Jesse. His father is retired, his mother also...his brother is trying to make more Jesse's, but I doubt it will ever happen. Jesse was not only a doll, he was Mr. Personality. RiniW could have kept him alive for a few more months, maybe a year no doubt, but it would have been a life of pain and misery...it was love that let little Jesse go to the peace he deserved. |

Your Whisper is another little DOLLBABY - from the first day I saw HER picture - I fell in love....I've had her picture on my computer for almost 2 years now - I'd LOVE to see more of HER ! |
I shed tears as I write my thanx to Villette for doing such a wonderful job of posting my boy. I still can feel his struggle to breathe the very last night he tried to sleep on my chest..I prayed that God would take him so I would not have to make that last humane decision to end his life. That was not to be but he died so peacefully with me and his long time vet crying our eyes out. He was hospitalized 3 times last winter for pneumonia and had already been in twice this past winter. The vet and I had decided that we could not and would not put him thru that again. I know in my heart that he is in a better place but there is a huge hole in my heart that will never heal. You all have been so kind to listen to me as I grieve for him still. These pics show that the eye flash does indicate the coat texture. Jesse's eyes were vivid green and he had the most beautiful silky coat. Makayla has the more golden eyes and her coat is dark and soft.. |
I am so sorry for the loss of your precious Jessie. He was adorable. What kind of respiratory problems did he have? I know you said pneumonia but was there an underlying condition which caused him to get pheuminia more frequently than a typical dog? How old was he? I hope it doesn't cause you more pain to discuss this but it might help someone here who has a dog with similar issues. And, yes, just like skin kids, puppies from the same family can look entirely different. I look nothing like either my brother or my sister and my kids don't really look alike either, although there are features they share. |
Rini and Pat, you are making me cry this morning. What a sweet face Jesse had, I don't know if I could have been as brave as you Rini even knowing it was the best thing. I hope I could have but I just don't know. But he is waiting for you and no doubt will one day sleep on your chest again. |
Jesse was just everything I ever had in a baby. When he was 6 weeks old, I bought 2 puppies who were isolated til they were given a clean bill of health by the vet. Turns out they were carriers of campylobacter. I had to treat all of my babies with Doxycycline and the second dose for Jesse was a near fatal one. He stopped breathing and was totally allergic. I drove with him to the vet doing CPR and driving. I am sure that some of his vomitus was blown into his lungs. He had severe scaring and had limited lung compacity and was so prone to pneumonia. With each hosp stay he just didn't reach his level of health that he had before and kept getting worse. He gave his daddy one last kiss and glanced my way as if he knew that was the end. He and I went off to the vet where he was sent peacefully across Rainbow Bridge.. He is buried under the holly tree along with several other pets.. |
My deepest sympathies Jesse was beautiful!!!! Bless his little resting heart. Although I don't know the details of how he came to pass, I am sure he is at peace up there at RB looking down on mommy Rini saying I wuv you! This stuff is just SOOOO sad and I dread the day I have to experience this. Jesse does look like a one of a kind little fella. I hope and pray his legacy will live on in one of his siblings. His sister is adorable! Hugs, Irene |
Thank you, Irene. As Yorkie Rose said, there was never another Jesse. She has his brother and he is a beauty in his own right. Jesse's mom and dad have both been retired so I will not ever have another Jesse. I have seen a little female whose pics look exactly like him. I have actually seen that little girl and indeed she does look like him. Maybe I will steal her.. |
