Babies Sleeping With You Hi Everyone, I'm just wondering when you let your babies sleep in the bed with you? Did you wait until they were fully potty trained or let the sleep with you from the first night? |
Admin I Think This Is A Double Post... |
When I first brought Piper home he'd sleep with me on the couch (I usually fall asleep there watching T.V.), and then I'd wake up halfway through the nighttime hours and I'd bring him to the bedroom with me and put him in his crate for the remainder of the night. That lasted not even a week and I began putting him in the bed with us ALL night. He still isn't fully potty trained but he would hold it all night long. We had one accident about a week ago where he was sleeping, snuggled up to my back, and he let loose unintentionally in his sleep. Tonight is my first night without him :( I am attempting to crate train him since he has suddenly begun to potty in the house several times a day despite being taken outside often. It is hard! I miss my Piper Cub snuggling with me...hopefully we\'ll get through this soon!! |
Yes i let rosie sleep with me id put puppy pads down and take heroutside at about 3am she has had bout 2 accidents but i have to have her with me wendy and rosie :rose: :yorkiesar |
Gwen slept from me from the first night, and now that Skippy has diapers he\'s on board too. |
Starsky was in his crate the first 2 to 3 nights and would wake up in the middle of the night to go potty. I would then put him back in his kennel and we would bark and whine for hours. So I put him in bed with us and he sleeps through the night with no potty breaks. Never has peed in our bed! |
Jade always sleeps with me as Zsa Zsa was doing when she was alive . If I can find a new puppy , he or she will sleep with me . |
Sleeping with Mya It started out just having her on the bed I would take a nap. I worried that if she got used to sleeping with me that she would not like her bed in her cage anymore. Well, my husband works nights so no fears of squishing her and she does not jump off the bed. She digs or cries when she wants down, usually to use her pee pad in the early morning. She still likes to go in her bed in her cage during the day so I am not worried. She also does not cry to get up on to the bed. She also likes to cuddle and sleep with our other dog Comic. The only problem with that is that Comic starts panting from her body heat *giggle* We also feed her on our bed because that way the cat and comic will not steal her puppy food. My shihtzu was too dependant sleeping with me, he used to sleep on half my pillow and had to be touching me. I don\'t see this problem with Mya. |
Lillie has slept between my husband and I since day one! |
Codie and Katie have slept with me and Jim since the very first day I brought them home. |
well im a sucker and let Pudgy sleep with me.. He lets me know when he has to go at night. Usually he sleeps most the night but when he wakes up and goes to the end of the bed thats his sign.. |
Binky sleeps w/ us on the bed. Mimi, our 3 month Maltese, doesn\'t sleep w/ us yet...as she is not fully potty trained yet. But I expect her to sleep w/ us soon too. |
I don\'t let Deegan sleep with me because I am so afraid to squish him or that he might try and jump off and hurt himself. When he\'s doing better at potty training him I will put his bed right next to mine. |
At first Macy slept in her crate for the first few weeks, but she was up at 4 am. I finally said lets try her in our bed, have a small round petbed from Kmart between our pillows and she sleeps there most of night then between my feet. She has been very good only peeing once when I scared her- so it was my fault! Thank god that was a friday when we were leaving to go camping- she sleeps with us in the camper too......I love waking up to her kisses and hugs! |
Mollie sleeps in her crate every night. I\'m worried about her falling off or jumping of the bed. |
