So a lady walks into my work today.... with a yorkie under her arm, 2 1/2 pounds. No teeth. States that is because previous owners only fed it junk food so it lost all of it's teeth. Then proceeds to feed it hard candy from this cup we have sitting on the counter, that is at least 8 months old. Then licks her finger, dips it back into the cup and then puts it in her mouth. On and on. She ends up having a ring (the lady) of hard candy around her mouth. Not kidding. Then asks if my yorkies are tiny like her yorkie and tells me she always takes her dog out to eat fast food. I :hands: not a member here, but guessing by her behavior, highly doubtful. |
Maybe she should become a member here to learn about proper dog nutrition! |
I got the feeling she had a drinking problem and I could tell nothing I was going to say was going to change her behavior, so this time I really had to bite my tongue. |
     What a POW! |
ummm.. wow! Where are all these weirdos coming from? So, she knows why her dog has no teeth and proceeds with feeding it junk food.....? :questione :scratchhe I don't get it... ugh! |
 Poor dog... It's one thing to feed healthy food to a dog, but if its not healthy for me - my dogs sure don't get it! |
OMG!!! I thought the worst thing I have seen was somebody sharing ice cream from the same spoon!!! I have nothing against sharing food with the babies, mine actually are really big beggers, but... what an irresponsible way to malnourish a poor dog...:( |
awwwwwwww yuck ok i went to the flea market today and there was a lady who was extremly overweight not saying thats bad but she wasnt even able to walk she was on a rascal ( so she could get around) under her legs was a older yorkie on leash with a collar tied to the bootom of the handle bars he was sitting on the floor board i geuss you would say when i commented on how cute he was even thou he was an absoulte mess obviously matted She had the nerve to say yes there expensive so please dont touch i was like first of all (THINKING THIS ) i wouldnt want to reach under your legs and touch your dog but whats more then that he had a stack of french fries he was eating my husband who has alot more nerve then me said yes well our yorkie doesnt get foods that can likely kill him so theres no need for us to want to touch him which really made no sense but he sticking up for me which in a round about way is very swet point being some people our just cluless and i was so worried that her dog would fall off and get dragged and killed she really would not have been able to notice its was all very sad just like this lady wow this was long but i thought i share my weired experince today too |

Yeah this lady was all, are your yorkies as tiny as mine and I am thinking my yorkies are nothing like yours, they have teeth and are well groomed. Then she went on and on how expensive yorkies are and almost insisting to know what I paid and how I afforded it...um, a - none of your business, b - I have a job. Nutty. |

It seemed like that type of person who takes the dog everywhere just to get attention and then talks about how small it is. Kinda sad really. |
That's sad and so unfair to the dog. It will eat whatever the owners give it most likely, and she feeds it candy:thumbdown That dog is prob. really hyper most times, and not getting the nutrition it needs:( |
   I don\'t know about some people!!! |
