OMG a tooth HELP!! Memphis was Chewing on something so i put my finger in his mouth to see waht it was and A TOOTH fell out should i be concerned or was i just lucky enough to catch on of his baby teeth it was one in the way back ??? |
Yay! That's a good thing. I'm still waiting for the last canine baby tooth to come out. Maxwell would make grinding noises when his back ones came out. |
Yep lucky enough to catch one coming out! Sometimes I would find them on the floor and of course I saved them :) |
I found one on the couch the other night. One less for the vet to extract! |
Awesome i caught one of Lowlas too but it was a front one and we were at the vets HOW lucky is that and he told me it was fine but i was a lil worried it was a Back one AWWW .... i know have all my babies baby teeth expect for my skinbaby Corbin he is still getting them really well he just has a few more but aways to go before he loses them YAYwhat a good day |
Most yorkies end up having to have some of their baby teeth removed. If the baby teeth remain when the permanent teeth come in it can cause the permanent teeth to decay. Most people do this when their puppies are neutered. So you just saved yourself about $10.00 because it's usually that per tooth. |
Oh for sure I didnt know how much it cost lowla only had one that needed to be removed but THATs a whole nother story we where at the vets for some shots and he told me it needed to be removed i said ok when should i shecdule an appointment well he came over with this thing said no need and yanked it out right then and there I WAS like OH heck No you cant just surprise her like that ( mean while she yelping ) I was SOOOO furious he didnt charge no need to say i didnt go back i dont know how they normally do it but that just seemed cruel to do it that way |
Lucky you...I wish Teddy's would come out on their own, but they arent. He is going to have about a dozen of them taken out the end of this month. |
Samson had to have 11 removed during his neuter surgery. Poor thing. Then he lost 2 more on his own a few days later. But he's chewing on things less so it all worked out. I was lucky too because my vet only charged $40 to remove all of them. |
When my friends puppy did the same thing and came to find out he had lost a few teeth some she found on the floor and others the Vet stated that he probably ate. My babies as I know have not lost any yet. Lucky you caught it |
teeth Be very happy the vet could pull the tooth WITHOUT being put under...no Yorkie ever died from a naturally removed tooth...and it can not be truly painful, it scares them and they yelp with surprise..mine turn around and chew a treat 5 seconds after I pull a puppy tooth..same as my kids pulling their loose baby teeth... |
I have 2 of Banjo's Baby teeth!!!Yea!! |
