lonely? A month after i had gotten Callie I decided to put a stuffed animal that was a little bigger then her in her crate for her to cuddle with when she went to sleep (its a horse) now starting like 2 weeks ago she is carrying it around with her and fighting with it, kissing it(licking it), put a bone in front of it, took it to her food, and takes her outside! Is she lonely or just playing with her toy like a little skin kid would play with a doll? What do yall think? Its cute no doubt but I just was wondering if yall think shes lonely or what? |
AWWWWW that is the cutest thing ever. I dont know how accurate this is but in my opinion she is just playing the same way a kid would play and take their toys with them where they go. the bone is like a tea party or something.... sooooo cute.... |
How cute! Putting a little bone out for her baby! :D |
I believe a yorkie should never be an only yorkie.. I always have felt they need a brother or a sister. I believe that when we are not home our furbutts might miss us but are never really alone with having a sister or brother to love and cuddle into.. but this is my belief.. I think that is what your baby needs.. I also think that is very very sweet,. I can almost picture this happening.. |
that sounds just too cute!!! we had ONE for a while,, and I really think she was fine,, it was ME who hated having to leave her alone for anything,, we now have 3,,and the other 2, I do believe would be lonely alone,, but Cricket I believe would be fine,, she's not convinced she's a dog anyway,, ;) |
That sounds so cute, especially since it is bigger than her. Murfee has a squirrel that he does the same thing with. It is so falling apart from washings. He takes it everyplace with him. |

aw that bone thing is so cute it could seriously make me cry a little if I thought about it long enough lol. but yeah i think shes just playing with it like a kid does. when I waas little my parents had a really smart german shepard and he had a flexible, plastic guy in a wrestler outfit that we called "HE-MAN." He stole it from my 3 year old brother one day and never gave it back. he took that thing everywhere!! it was his best friend his whole life! |
Wow, that sounds just too stinkin' cute. I'd love to see pics or videos (hint hint ;) ) It reminds me of that Petsmart (or Petco - I get them confused) commercial where the little doxie has that matted up dirty stuffed dog that he takes everywhere with him! |
just too cute! Sounds like he is playing mom! |

I bet she thinks it is her Baby :) That is to sweet. |
Even though I was home each and every day with Toby, I could still tell he was lacking the interaction and stimulation of having another little furbutt his size to play with and we found him a sister, Shelby Rose. There's been a big difference now with Toby and I just love having two around the house each day. If only I could talk hubby into three ..... Can't wait to see pics of Callie and her baby. :^) |
I belive she thinks it's her baby and is just carrying it around because she loves it. Buddy had a rabbit that I put in his crate with him for company. He did the same thing until one day he realized he could tear it apart and tear it apart he did! Poor bunny. Bud's an only child and I have had no problems with him adjusting except for barking when I left the house, of which, he has outgrown. He;ll wimper some but that's about it. Yes it is great if there are two of any animal but it's not a necessity. |
Well I have two and My Chachi will do some of the same things with his teddy bear that hes had since he was a pup. He humps it and every night when he goes to bed he carries it upstairs then every morning he carries it back downstairs.. He also takes it outside with him sometimes. If I put it up where he cant get to it he will cry for it |
