Stopped on our walk today! Hubby and I took the Brat Pack out for our 1st walk this evening, we had such nice weather that we thought it would be a perfect evening walk. We don't even get 2 houses down and this truck pulls up beside us and asked me if one of my babies were forsale! I said NO! He proceeded to tell me how he has been wanting a little dog like mine. Asked me if I was a breeder and I said No, not really. He then pulled out his camera and took a picture of my babies! He said, Ohhh I can't wait to show my girl friend. Then he asked if he could have my name and # I told him he could give me his # and if I came across one forsale I would call him  |
Glad your hubby was with you. |
It sometimes amazes me at how much attention our furbutts draw. Hopefully the guy was just happy to see such cute little ones and meant nothing negative by stopping.......... but we do need to stay "on guard" when we are out and about with them. |
I agree about being on guard but I have to tell you Thomas shocked me one time. He came home with pictures of two Yorkies and a lady on his cell phone and was so excited to show me their haircuts:eek: I can't imagine what that woman must have thought, he just went right up to her and said he thought they were adorable and he'd love to show his wife but it was perfectly innocent:p |
That is scary!!! I would have told him I did not consent to photos!!!! Just because I am the paranoid type  |
Oh my I am just reading this ! We had a crazy event on our first walk today too.. I would vividly remember that man.. That is scary and he had no business taking pictures of your baby and asking personal identifying information:eek:    Thank goodness you had hubby with you .. Poeple are nuts these days! Quote:

I think you should feel flattered; he gave you a logical excuse for the photo. Now that people have cameras on their phones, it's not so unusual. This happens to me sometimes when I'm out with Joey, I think it's a real compliment, and I always give them the breeder's name. |
