diaphragmatic hernia I posted this on health, but didn't really get alot of response to it. So, here I am again asking for guidance. On Friday, I will be adopting a almost 2 year old boy who have this condition. I was wondering if any of you experience or have other babies that has this. I was also wondering, if further along, Can I ask for guidance on raising him. The person that I will be getting him from is very nice, honest and reputable. She told me his condition honestly. I am worried and sad when she told me that, she cannot assure me on his lifeline. That means, he can die tomorrow, a month, a year or have a full life. I am so sad right now. I wanted him so bad so I can take care of him. But in the other hand I am so worried. :( |
I'm sorry to hear about your problem. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about this condition. Do a Google search on it and see what you can find. I'm sure there's lots of info out there. Good luck. Hope it works out for you and the pup! |
You certainly have a good heart to take on this sick baby. I don't have any experience with this, but I'm sure there are plenty of good people on this forum that can help you. Consider this a "bump". Good luck to you! |
thank you. I have read everything and anything about this. And., somehow, I am still lost. I am an RN and being one is no help to me on this. I guess, I just need someones guidance and reasurance that everything 's going to be okay. :( |
Well, if you have all the info and know how to care for him, then I would go ahead and take him and give him a good home with lots of love. In reality, we never know how long any one of us have on this earth. We just have to make the best of every day. I had 2 yorkie sisters, 9 yrs old, and one just died suddenly of kidney disease. We were(are) so heartbroken. Just love them with all your heart for as long as you can. God be with you. :heart to |
Have you called any vets to get their opinion. Sounds like you will make a great Mommy to him. |
hernia Can they not be fixed? I had a male w/ an umbilical hernia that was easily fixed. I'm sure that it would be more complicated but I just wonder if it can't be fixed. Call a vet hospital like Univ. of Tenn. |
