My little Juju Bean is such a little prancer...especially when we go outside. She walks with her head held high and picks up her little legs like she's a teeny-tiny prancing horse. It is so adorable! I love it. Does anyone else notice that their babies do this?

yes miss buffey does and it is too cute! my fiancé even jokes that she prances around .. i think she knows she is cute ;) :D

tracey, miss buffeys breeder, says her daddy does the same thing so she must have gotten it from him...i think it is just adorable!

Mia is far from 'prancing'. Whenever we're outside, she runs around at full speed like a crazy puppy, sometimes stumbling over her own feet. She even pulls back the ears as far as she can to get more aerodynamic speed! She's not the most graceful thing at 15 weeks. haha

HAHAHA, I can just picture Juju doing this. ;) You can take a wild guess on who my prancer is, LOL :cool: Yep, Princess Pia, hahaha! :p What you might not guess is that Snoot is a major prancer also. :D I catch Paisley prance from time to time but mostly Trixie and her hop around like bunnies. :)

Brownie prances around as well as Allegro, it is the cutest thing to watch!!

Haha...our Lola is "Daddy's little pony" too! She loooks just like a little prancing pony when she walks around. :)

That sounds like she has the perfect "Show Walk" down pat!
I love seeing the little ones in the ring prancing around with such
attitude.

Buddy walks like a bloodhound. Nose to the ground and off we go:p

OMG Jeanne....that is Tatum ALL THE WAY! :eek: It is so so funny that you posted this cause my mom comments ALL the time how Tatum holds her head up in the air like she is some kind of Yorkie snob :rolleyes:

I mean what does she think she is, some kind of PRINCESS???? :rolleyes:

Lillie will sometimes prance, but most of the time she shakes her butt. It is so funny - when she is out in the yard, her head is high, ears straight and walks and purposely shakes her butt. My other one - Gracie - I call her my Clydesdale Horse. She walks through the yard just like the horses on the Budweiser commercials.

Joey does this too; it's so precious, I've never had another dog do this, does anyone know if it is a yorkie trait?

Smokey does it when we go downstairs and when we're outside. His head is straight up in the air, tail straight up, and just prances like a little prince. Chip on the other hand has his head down (aerodynamics I guess) and runs full speed ahead.

We call it "attitude" when she walks like this...

My favorite though is when she gets excited when we come in the door and she goes into her wiggle butt routine, her Steve Martin "wild-n-crazy-guy" walk. It is the cutest thing :)

OMG Izzy does the same thing and it's so cool since she has long hair and when she prances her hair just flows and she holds her head up high and her tail is up. Oh and she hops like a bunny too so I guess she can be called a prance-a-bunny.;)

Ahahaha! Juju does that too! She'll walk up to Betty and bend her body and put her butt in Betty's face! It's a hoot!!
