Rusty has always cleaned everyone's ears that will let him... Does anyone's Yorkie also do that?

Some dogs love ear wax and others hate it. Rusty also goes nuts for a dirty Q-tip......................

Anyone else? Come on, admit it.............

Yes! Jasmine always cleans something! Whether its the ear,nose, or mouth! Once, she even licked my mom in the eye!

My babies never done the cleaning ears thing at least not yet. But they both do have a thing for ear nibbling.

eww no lol i wouldn't let them. But sophie cleans london's ears. She loves it. i hate the noise tho! It's like a loud licking noise

Gracie loves to clean my ears. I think it is the hair spray that attracts her.

Yes! Meeko licks my boyfriends ears all the time. I dont let him do it to me, I think it feels gross.

I thought Mariah was weird cuz she is always after my ears...good to know I'm not alone.

She also swallowed an ear plug - scared me to death. :eek: Luckily she threw it up the next day! I was freaking out!

When I called the vet hysterical - they said...Oh, that happens ALL THE TIME! I was like WHAT?!? :confused: They said some dogs like the smell/taste of earwax...especially of it's someone they care about. LOL!

My boys will lick inside a person's ear all night if you let them! It feels soooo gross to me I never let them do it!

But when he naps on the couch Allie more then the others..
Licks in his ear...nose And MOUTH...Ewwwwwww :eek: gross!
He would so die if he knew!!!

I kiss noses...but I dont like licking me...
Like somebody else already post...they lick their butts...lol

I had put a question on Yorkietalk (which I can't find now!) about this - I had read in a book a passing reference to Yorkies "sticking their tongues in your ear" and wondered if this was somehow common knowledge because Sargie always tries it and I am always pushing him away. The reply about the vet saying that the dogs like the smell of earwax "especially if it's someone they like" makes sense, I guess. He doesn't seem to do it to my boyfriend, whose face he is always attempting to lick. I'm the one whose ears he goes for. I wonder if it's all dogs, or just a Yorkie thing?
