Puppy Proofing Balcony I live on the third floor of a condo building and since were getting closer to warmer weather I want to get out there and puppy proof my balcony. I am terrified of her falling off. I dont even plan on letting her be out there without me but I would like to puppy proof the balcony so that when I am out there she can walk around without me going crazy worrying about her falling. Does anyone have any suggestions that will help me puppy proof my balcony but not take too much away from the aethetics of my balcony? :doghop: Thanks! |

I bought something called a railnet...just tied it on.... it's made for toddlers. Check Amazon.com i think Babyfirst makes it. Also plexiglass works more permanently, if you drill holes and use zipties to attach to the rails . deb |

Good suggestions:thumbup: |
I went to the home store, in the garden section, and bought what is in essence plastic chicken wire. It is dark green. I placed it around the perimeter of the deck so that the spaces in the Yorkie zone are covered. I just used green garden twist ties to attach it to the deck boards/railings. |
Puppy Bumpers save lives! There's a new product called Puppy Bumpers that are cute little stuffed collars that fit around the puppy's neck -not allowing them to go between the rails of the balcony. I would never let my dogs out without them. I think it is puppybumpers.net . |
