Do any of your yorkies..... chew on the carpet. I never catch Tucker chewing on anything else, but he is chewing on the carpet as I type! I keep telling him no, but everytime I look away, he starts at it again. And nevermind the fact that he has three toys right by him! Honestly, I don't understand how he even gets a hold of it. It's a low rise carpet!:confused: :p |

Yes, Banjo does do that sometimes! I wondered if he smelled something there- like a chewy he laid there w/ before-he does not do it alot, but every once in a while- he is like trying to bite the carpet- and he pulls! That is the only time- I am ok w/this carpet- it is ugly and wore out!! I really don't care about this carpet, but....... hope he out growns it because new carpet is at the top of my wish list- when he gets older!! It weird though! |
JoJo does this a lot! I live in an apartment so it's probably not a good thing, but i've always wondered if maybe it isn't because there was a pet in here shortly before us. but i understand. she just does it randomly and i'll tell her no and move her but she's right back to it. |

Yep! Little Man chews, pulls, and dig at the carpet and rugs. I tell him no. He quits for awhile then he's right back at it. He did make a hole in the carpet next to the wall behind daddy's chair. We had to cover it up or he would go right back to that spot and make it bigger. |
I spray bitter apple on the spots they are interested in. It's too late at some places.:eek: |
Both Lexie and Tucker chew on the carpet. It's pretty old carpet so it's not a huge deal, but one day Lexie threw up green grossness and I knew that it had to be stopped! They don't do it as much now as they did when they were younger but I still catch them from time to time. |
Yep - I have to divert his attention to a toy. |
