:D Here is what Donna sent me...:D I cook up 2 cups brown rice with 1/2 cup lentils & 1/2 cup split peas together till crisp tender, drain and rinse in cold water. I fry up 4 pounds of ground beef, drain and add to the rice mixture. I chop (in the food processer) 6 to 8 fresh carrots, (depending on size) & add that to the mix. I chop about half a head of parsley & add to the mix. Stir really well and put into quart size freezer zip-loc bags and freeze. This is the main food. I boil about 8 eggs at a time and keeping the shells on, I keep them in the ref. For breakfast I add 1/4 boiled egg to 1/4 cup of the meat & rice mixture. Sometimes I'll even beat up a couple of eggs, pour in the skillet (use just a little olive oil in the skillet to keep eggs from sticking too much) then add the meat & rice mixture, (about 1/2 cup) and make an omlet for them. You can even add plain yogurt or cottage cheese to the meat mixture. The meat mixture can be served all by itself. I give my girls 1/4 cup of food twice a day.:D :D  Thanks again Donna |
Thanks Lana. |
