7 pounders.. those of you with 7 lbs weighing yorkies can you please send me your pictures.. im trying to get an idea of how big a puppy will be that is estimated to get this big. Thanks courtney |
yeah ide like to know too, coz thats about how big toby is going to get.... |
My Mia is around 6 , if that will help any. I like her size. Even with her being towards the top end of the weight spectrum I still worry about injury. They are still tiny enough that you have to be careful with them. http://www.yorkietalk.com/gallery/sh...500&ppuser=164 |
My Higgins is 6.5 lbs of MUSCLE! He has always been SUPER active and loves to play fetch and frisbee and just RUN outside. We have always encouraged this so he would get tired out and his old parents could get a little rest. He doesn't seem to tire......LOL A big benefit is that he has built strong muscles and these help protect him from injury. Good musculature will help support those delicate joints. Of course there are many other benefts, too -- cardio, good lungs, weight control, and just plain FUN for all of us. Gotta get some new pictures of him up......will try and do that today..... |
When I got Archie, he was like 5 lbs or something and they said that that was how big he was going to get (he was 5 mos. at that time). He's 9 lbs now, at 8 months old. I don't think you can really tell until they're 8-12 mos. old. He was 7lbs at about 6 or 7 months, but the vet said that Archie is healthy---just a big boy. He's about 11 inches high and 17-20 inch long. |
Courtney, Ahia is 7 lbs right now. If you want to stop in and see her. |
