Dressing up your Yorkie I was wondering do y'all let your furrybabies wear clothes around the house or just when you take them out or what? I have an 8 year old and a 8 month old and both of them will let you put anything on them. So far I have only put clothes on them to take them out - coats etc. I saw some really cute outfits at the Pet Store I go to which brought up this question. I don't know if they would get to hot in the house wearing outfits or not. Most of the people around me think I'm crazy anyway because of how I treat my little ones but what the heck. I don't have skin children and these two little ones are my children. I would appreciate some feedback on dressing them. Thanks Joyce Ann |

Cody James wears clothes around the house, when we go for walks or the store. they look soooo cute! there's members here that makes clothes and often some that sell them.! |

Little Man don't like wearing clothes but he's getting use to it. He gets dressed every morning. The only time he's nekky is when we go to bed. I haven't bought him any pj's yet. |
I think you have to go by the weather. I dress Joey in the winter and in the summer with air conditioning. Today, it's warm but not warm enough for AC so he san clothes. I love seeing his beautiful coat. So I dress Joey for several reasons sometimes to keep him warm and sometimes just because it cute. I don't worry whether other people have a problem with it. I see your from Tennessee, I suppose on days that's it hot and humid he might be uncomfortable in a wool sweater. It has nothing to do with whether I'm going out or not. |
I dress mine up at home and of course when we go out. Depending on how hot/cold it is, he sometimes wears a t-shirt, a sweater or a coat. |

Mine wear clothes mainly when they are out. They have pj's that they wear at bedtime, but they are mostly nakey in the house:D |
Sometimes I Tobey dressed all day but mostly when he goes out.. I haven't bought Izzie any outfits yet but pretty soon |
I usually only dress Max if it's really cold or we're going somewhere. During the summer, it's just too hot to put anything on him. Occasionally I'll put a tank top on him if we go out, or if we go out of town where the weather is cooler, but if we're staying inside even in the A/C, he's au naturale during the summer. |
I almost always put something on Lucy when I get home. Thomas loves to see her in a new dress when he gets home and makes a big deal about it to her so it's fun! OK - it's fun to watch my "man" turn to mush telling her how pretty she is :) She is always dressed when we go out. |
I dress mine, but they go outside when they feel like it.. so depends on weather outside.. I am bad enough with my own laundry and ironing everything.. so I do not need to be spending hours ironing dog clothing.. I even iron my pillow cases.. so I would could not imagine how I could be.. I am not overly fussy on my house as long as it is clean and tidy.. I am far from anal on that.. too hard with yorkies..LOL |
