Sorry for being a pest I went to the pet shop at lunch and got Innova dry and Innova wet. The guy said to ween him off the eukanuba slowly. So give him some of the innova wet with the dry and some eukanuba. Pray for me that he eats tonight. I am also going to separate them when they eat. My husband said he knows he was bad this morning so he is being very quiet and good today. Thanks for all your help, I love this little man and dont want to give him up. |
you usually mix 80% of the old with about 20% of the new food. Slowly migrate up to a larger portion of the new. That way there is less tummy upset. |
Try mixing 80% of the old food with 20% of the new food for 2-3 days, then switch to a 60:40 ratio for a couple days, then a 40:60 ratio for a couple days, then a 20:80 ratio and finally 100% new food. The whole process should take about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks. This is what I've did whenever I've had to switch food with my two. Its time consuming to measure it out everyday but it is totally worth it..not having runny poo is good thing:thumbup: :D |

sorry for being a pest I wanted to switch Tricksie, Mon. I gave her one teas. of the new Innova canned with her regular food, she has had the poops ever since. I am taking the rest of it back. Let me know how your baby is doing. |
wow!! I have never done that with my cats or my dogs and have never had a problem.maybe they just have good digestive systems. not that I have changed many times its just when I did I just did. guess you can tell they are not picky. and no poo problems:) |

Good luck with the switch:D Mine have always been okay and will pick the new food out and eat only that:laugh: Little stinkers! Luckily it's not affected their poo at all, they must have cast-iron tummies:p |
The canned innova makes my Lily very sick but she does great on the dry Innova I have noticed such a difference in her with this food. Her coat is so nice. Quote:
