Do dogs cry? I have wondered this forever, I know they produce tears but when a dog is upset can or do there eyes water as if they are crying? |

I know the article says that only humans produce emotional tears...I'm not so sure that is true. Have you never seen your yorkie have watery eyes and you KNOW they are sad? I know we have one that has some mild separation anxiety and i can tell she is upset and her eyes look watery. |
I know when i go off somewhere and i can't take my baby . when i look at him he looks sad and looked like he was crying... |

hmmm, I have seen him "cry" when he has been upset but then always wondered if it was from allergies or hair in his eyes. I guess thats why I brought it to my YT family to see what everyone thought of if anyone knew! ;) |

"In animals, it is virtually impossible to tell if their tears are the result of emotions or merely caused by eye irritation. Most scientists agree, however, that humans are the only animals who produce emotional tears." |
I do believe they do "cry"...for all it's worth :p |
