I was looking at this website and I came across this story about a poor little Emmy, a Yorkshire Terrier who was rescued from a puppy mill. It's so heart breaking but I just had to share it. We've got to stop puppy mills!

So heartbreaking!!! And I agree. We have to find a way to stop this inhumane way of treatment of these precious anamials! :(

Aw, I'm crying, again. I'm such a sap! Those poor little Yorkies. I wish I could take them all home and give them all the love and attention they need. :( Poor little kids. Down with puppymills!

It makes me sick. How low of a person do you have to be to abuse these poor, defenseless animals?? These filthy people, who live out in far away places so no one can hear the screams and cries of these poor babies. They should go crawl back under the rock they came from.

I had read Emmy's story before and she is just the cutest little thing. I am so glad she was rescued. Thanks for bringing her story to our attention again. It rejuvenates in our battle to stop the cruelty of puppymills.

The more I read... the more I cried - what a little angel...I can't hardly type -

I hadn't seen Emmy before - that was incredible in a GREAT way ...but....the cruelty is incredible too. I think I'd have to really hurt someone if I EVER came face to face with a Puppy Mill owner. For real.

She said it ALL in this quote
There is no kindness or understanding in my heart for puppymillers!! They are like the slime on the bottom of rocks. People who live in out of the way places so the rest of the world cannot hear the cries of pain and suffering coming from the dogs. People who will knowingly sell sick and dying puppies to others just to make another dollar. People who will breed sick dogs "just one more time", for just "one more litter"!!

I hope you will all say a prayer for Emmy that she continues to thrive and grow. She deserves a chance at a loving life. As you pray for Emmy, please say a prayer for all the other dogs that are still left behind.
