Warm nose? All 3 of my girls have had warm noses for the last couple of days...they are teething but everything else is totally normal. Is a warm nose really a sign of something going on or could it just be from teething? Oh, they're cutting their molars. |
It's okay.:) Ellie used to have a warm nose all the time. I found out the food she was on wasn't doing a thing for her. After I took her off, she has a cold nose more often. It is probably teething in your case. |
When I took Maggy May in for a check up before, he nose was wet and cold, I asked the vet if that meant she was sick, I always get confused on that, lol. Anyhow, he said nope, wet and cold is good, it's actually when they are dry and warm it's not good. Good luck, hope your furbabies aren't coming down with anything. |
Thank you for the replies. I just called my vet and asked them if I should be worried and if this could be from cutting their molars. They said not to worry, teething can do that and as long as they aren't lathargic, they're eating, going potty and acting normal in other ways they don't need to come in. Judging by the 2 or 3 hours of hard and fast play every morning I would say they aren't lethargic and for the amount of potty I clean up every day I'd say they're o.k. there...so I'll just keep an eye on them to make sure nothing else changes. |
