Excessive Gas Rex is one year and five months old. He has been eating wee bits by solid gold since he was about six months old. But lately his gas has been terrible. It smells like old boiled eggs. Anyone have any ideas of how to fix it? Am I the only one with this problem? |
Your not the only one with that problem Callie has bouts of gas and its just horrible i have had to leave the room because of it. |
Both my girls tend to get a little gassy from time to time. They're both on brands like california natural, ennova , natures variety.Dont know what to tell ya except you are not alone ! LOL Eileen |
Don't know if this will work for yorkies, but I have two boxers and a german shorthair pointer as well as Maggy May. Years ago when I was a member of the AOL BB, (Boxer Board) many there had boxers with very bad gas, and MANY said to feed our furbutts some yogurt with live cultures and it would gut way down on the gas. I did it to see if it worked and I'm here to tell ya, it DID, it worked wonders!! Don't know if yogurt is ok for the yorkies or not, maybe someone else here could tell us, but I do know for a fact that the yogurt help SOOO MUCH with my boxers and german shorthair pointers gas. |

Not only is yogurt okay, it's wonderful for them! Just make sure it's free of artificial sweetener, NO diet yogurt! Plain is just great, but if they won't eat it, vanilla is okay. I don't like to give my babies any extra sugar, I'm lucky that they eat the plain just fine;) |
