Check out this e-mail scam! 1 Attachment(s) I received 2 of these e-mails this morning. They sure don't look like yorkies to me! I've attached one of the pictures... due to our transferd to africa we are giving out our yorkie pupps out free, the need a good home we cant not take good care of them, the are 7 3 female 4 male, this some there pictures, hope to here from you (asap)your shipping charge is us$130, regard jane, |
It's funny, because if they were giving them away, they wouldn't have to email strangers, they'd give them to the neighbors or something. |
Wow when will they stop. I hate those scams. That puppy doesn't look like a yorkie too me either. I wonder what it is but it looks sad to me. |
That poor puppy has the saddest eyes I've ever seen. These people need to STOP! |
What in the????!!! MmmmmmHmmmmmm.....an albino Yorkie? They need their a&%es kicked. |
Hoax! HOAX!! HOAX!!!! For some reason tons of hoaxes come out of Africa and Nigeria. I don't know what type of dog that is (they do have the face shaved), but it sure is cute. Hopefully the people who have it like dogs better than people like they are intending to rip off! |
Maltese with ears up?!? I have seen this before...but that's no Yorkie!! |
Looks like a very real looking Stuffed Toy to me. But cute |

2 Attachment(s) here's the other two. |
maybe you should email them back. just a suggestion, of course that could cause a virus. i don't really think it looks like a stuffed animal because of its nose. usually they have a shinyer (sp?) nose. |
Yep.. just as I suspected, I went to the Wizard of Claws site :thumbdown , and they have many sickly looking pups posted with the exact same backdrop. PetitePawz |
I'm sure the scam will go something like this....they say it's $150 for shipping....then a problem arises....they need more....they will go ahead and send you a certified check for A LOT MORE than $150....probably more like $1,000 or more....they tell you to hurry and cash it at your bank and western union them the money so the airport will take it and they can get your puppy right out to you....bla bla bla. You are out $1,000 or more because the certified check is no good, and you get no puppy because it was never intended for you to have it anyway. That poor puppy in the 2nd photo you have has very weak eyes...each facing to the sides of its poor little face. |
ok i just went on to the website! i feel so badly for those dogs. i know its the same person you know how i can tell? in the email picture if you look at the watch and nails they are the same as the pictures with the hands on the website. its small things like that that count! ;) i wish people were more like our dogs and less like people sometimes! |
It doesn't look like a yorkie but it sure is cute whatever it is. |

Strange, that was my first thought..."Is this dog alive or stuffed?" |
That is a very cute picture- I feel so bad for the puppy look at those SAD little guys! |
They look like yorktease's. Yorkie and maltese mixed. They are cute, but do you think they took the photos off the Diva pup site? Wierd. |

I have seen some maltese with their ears up as pups, they fall as they grow with the weight of their hair. It definately has maltese hair. I have had so many people ask me if my yorkie is a maltese. Some people are just stupid!! IF they were the breeder they would know which one they had. |
