"talk"? Callie makes this weird noise when she wants someone to pay attention to her and pet her she sits and stares at you and does the noise its not a growl or a bark, my mom said it soulds like a wookie (I donno what that it maybe from star wars or something) or something like that its really weird and we went to the vet a week or so ago and there was no one else in there but the people who work at the front desk and she did it until one of them finaly came over and talked to her and pet her. Does anyone else's yorkie "talk"? |
:D Scooter does it all the time. I know what you're talking about. It's really funny. Sometimes when I'm not able to throw his toys for him to fetch, I swear, I think he's cussing me out! Too funny! |

I have one girl that does that when she wants attention. All my others just bark at me. |

Max does that too...kind of like a little "woof" when he wants for me to play with him, or pay attention to him....if he wants me to go check on something (mainly if he thinks someone is in front of the house or in the back yard), he'll run in, do his little "woof" to get my attention, and then just stare at me and proceed to "lead" me to where he wants me to go look. It's really funny how they DO communicate what they want. He also will do it when he thinks it's time for him to have his "snack"...he starts to run toward his dish, but makes sure I'm following him, LOL. So cute (and so smart, I think:D ). |
Chloe does it too. It's kind of like a yip without the 'p', then it progresses into a sound like 'ow' or 'eh'. If I repeat her "words" back to her, she'll converse with me for a while :p |

My Maddie is definitely a talker! Marty learned from her and now he does it too, but only to her when he wants to play. Maddie does it to anyone when she wants attention. It's adorable! |

Oh yeah! Jamie is definitely a talker which is sooo cute but there are definitely times when I remember the good old days before he found his voice. |
Yep, Bailey will wookie-talk when we play together. She wlll also come sit in my lap and stare at me nose-to-nose when she wants something. |
Tia does it too, mostly when someone comes to our home for a visit. She'll sit on her big pillow, stick her head up and out and make a sound like she's rolling her R's. I'm trying to catch her in the moment and associate that sound with tehe command "speak". It's not working so far, but it sure is cute when she does it ! |
