i'm very curious as to how sophie's coat will be.
i've tried reading about yorkie coats and colors.
i've gotten very confused with all that so i'm going to ask you guys,
looking at sophie's picture at 3 months old -- how do YOU think she will turn out, and does she resemble any of your furbabies?

She looks like alot of people's puppies. Her coat is still puppy fur and sorry you can't tell just yet. Consider it like....puppy surprise...you're never quite sure what you'll get at that age. :D

Some will tell you her eye color shown in flash photography will indicate whether she'll have a silk or cotton coat. Green means silk and red means cottony.

i've read about the eyes, but i've never noticed anything in her pictures.
i read that as young puppies, it's still hard to see because the eyes are still puppy blue?
and sorry, i guess the pictures could have been closer up, to see the detail, but my camera had ZERO battery life, i wanted to snap quickly.

Don't apologize to me...it's okay. I just threw that out at ya. You can try getting an indoor shot with a flash and see what you get.

Sophie is very cute and I love her name.

i'll try to get more batteries and do that.
inspiration to take sophie pictures always hits me at random,
when i don't have any of those! hehe

I can rarely get what I think are good pictures of either of mine....not to mention we always have the battery issue at my house too.

I know a poodle named Sophie, but no yorkies...well 'cept one now. :)

As a puppy...Reese's eyes showed up as a goldy color. His coat is cottony....matter of fact...he is 16 months old and still looks like a puppy. Other than his head lightening up....he is still jet black and tan with fluffy fluff puppy hair.

My Shih Tzu Lola has yellow eyes with every flash. Impossible to remove with red eye remover :rolleyes:

Laughing....

Try this....lay down on the floor so you are level with her and take a picture of her face. You may have to transfer the pictures to your computer to notice the color though.

Sophie says...all her can see is spots now. LOL

this would be so much easier if i was using my nice $500 sony camera.
silly me, i didn't charge my battery,
so i'm forced to use the cheap polaroid digital.

Oh no!!! Sophie's not a yorkie!! I'm kidding...in that second picture...where you can tell she's is getting a little over this photo shoot...I see a tinge of green in her right eye. Does it mean anything...I don't know....some people just swear by it as far as coats go.

My yorkie's eyes don't always show colors either...it has to be full face pictures taken in a darker room with no natural light.

Here is Reese...first picture he is about 5 months old...in the second he is a year old. He is still that dark and fluffy. Daisy has a Smooth non matting Coat that is nice and Silky
Kodi has a Coat that is more modified and mats easy.

If you use a Flash with the Picture taking it helps get the eye shine..
