I wish you all the luck in finding your new forever pet:) |
Help us What would you suggest we do i feel so bad for this little guy and his 2 brothers should we buy him and get him out of the situation and just see what happens or what this is our first yorkie pup and i just dont want to make this purchase and have heart break in our near future |
she said they are all caught up on their shots and worming and ready to go |
I'd be really worried that this puppy might have a liver shunt since he's so underweight. I certainly would not consider getting a puppy who wasn't the picture of health and from an excellent breeder. You are just asking for heartache and huge vet bills if you do. |
In all honesty, I would stear clear. Surgery or not, those puppies should have been cared for. Even if she has a guarantee, if something happens and that puppy is sick, would you really want to get another one from her? And do you think she would help you with vet costs or refund your money? Just some things to think about... |
how much food is typical on a daily basis for the age of the dog? |
They will typically eat about 1/3 of a cup a day. But that all depends on the dog. |
she has 3 pups and said they get 1/4 of a cup a day I am really concerned wit the well being of these dogs the only dog who looked taken care of was the mom like i said she looked and felt VERY healthy the other pup was 1 lb 10 oz and the 3rd was 2 lbs 6oz and lone behold the one we liked was the littlest one |
The puppies should have access to food 24/7. Their stomachs are far too small to handle an eating schedule. They need to be able to eat what they want, when they want. Does she breed often? Does she have many dogs? |
she said that seh normally only does referrals and she had the mother and father and told us that there was one other pup which was a girl and she went as soon as she was ready and now she just has the 3 boys and they get fed once a day at 5 am |
