Mi'Leigh Made Me Cry
 

Please don't think im crazy for what your about to read:embarasse ... I was layin in bed the other day and Mi was laying on her back with her little head on my tummy and I was looking into her beautiful little brown eyes and i said Mi.. do you know Mommie Loves you.. She got up and licked me on my cheek and then laid back down lookin at me and i smiled:rolleyes: .. So i said Mi are you happy with mommie.. and she licked me agian i started to cry:rolleyes: ... sometimes i feel like she knows what im tellin her:rolleyes: ...

I think they do too sometimes.. ;)

I like it when I happen to be crying and one or all four will come over and wash the tears off my face for me.:D

That sounds like something Chip did to me once!

I woke up and it was like 2 AM. I was laying on my left side and Chip was laying close to me on his right side, so he was facing me. It was dark (of course) and I was just staring at his beautiful little face and it reminded me of him being an itty bitty baby and I started thinking about all we've been through with him, yada yada. I gave him a small kiss on the head and told him I loved him. His little tongue reached out and gave me the sweetest little kiss on the face as if to say "I love you too mommy". I started getting all teary.

I know where you're coming from... believe me. I'm the one that cried when I dropped the two off at the boarder's house. See, Smokey is a rescue. Chip isn't. The person that grooms and boards them is the same person that rescued Smokey. It was like a month after we had gotten Smokey that we had to go out of town and all I could imagine was the movie Homeward Bound where Chance was tell Sassy and Shadow "THEY LEAVE YOU HERE AND NEVER COME BACK!" and I started crying. lol

Then the first time I dropped Chip off at the groomer... started crying. When he finished puppy kindergarten... started crying. If I'm like this now, how am I going to be with skin kids?! lol

EVERYONE At work tells me That!!! "you and your dogs i hate to see how you are when u have kids" LOL

I think they can read us like a book. They know when we are sad, happy, whatever. The other morning I woke up and just started thinking about Max, our little schnauzer we lost in May from diabetes and I started crying. Kayla come over to me and started licking my face and the tears. She knew mommie was upset and it was so sweet she cared how I felt. Your baby has a real caring mom.

seems all our babies are sensitive to our feelings.
