I can't find the breeders section I am hand raising four babies that are teething and wanted to know would it be alright to put greenies in their crib to knaw on? They are 2 weeks and 2 days old. |
I don't give greenies at all. I think they are too easily chewed up and swallowed. I suggest durable, non-edible chew toys for the puppies |

I do not feed greenies. Not even the new "safe" formula. There are a lot of good safe alternatives for chewing. One of the best and most safe are "shank" bones -- the little round marrow bones that are hollow in the center. Buy a shank cut of meat at your favorite grocery store, make a pot of good ole home made soup with the shank, clean the bone and give it to the kids. We have some lying around the house that have been chewed on and washed for a couple of years and still don't show any signs of teeth marks. |
NO GREENIES! They can block intestines if too large of a piece is swallowed. |

I really dont recommend them. I used to give them to my girl, made her very sick. |

I reread your post didn't realize your babies were so young. I remember seeing non-edible teething bones for puppies at Target. Good luck with your little ones, why do you have them so young? |
