I would like to say Hi! Hi! I'm new to yorkietalk. I have two new Yorkie girls Izzy and Gidget what a great addition to our family.:animal36 I do have a question for everyone. When I bought my puppy's the lady said they would be 4 to 5 pounds. The parents are 6.5 and 4 pounds, When I took them for 9 week shots they were 2.8 and 2.7 what should I expect the adult weight to be. It don't matter but I would like to know if they will be bigger. |
Welcome to YT and we look forward to hearing more and seeing more of your babies. Here is the yorkie puppy chart...it tends to run pretty well: http://yorkiepassion.com/growthchart.htm |
Hi and welcome to YT. It's so tricky trying to guess a Yorkie's weight even knowing the parent's size. My guess would be to take the weight at 3months double it and add 1lb. That should give you an approximate size. Your two should stay under 7lbs I would think. Enjoy this site. Lot's to learn. |
just wanted to come by and say hi & welcome to YT:D |

Welcome :) |
Welcome to YT. It's really hard to say how big your pooches will be when they are adults. The size of their parents only attributes so much to the scenario--the rest of the line plays a role too. You can really only make an educated guess--as your breeder should have know. |
Welcome you and your babies to YT!!! :) |
