Need Help
 

Hi Everyone,

I need help.....my husband & I went to look at a Yorkie last night and he was beautiful. The only thing is that he appeared to be lethargic. The breeder said it was because she had just put ear wash in his ears and he was mad.

The other thing that bothered us was that he is from the 7th and final litter. We thought that after 3 you could run into genetic problems, is this correct?

The big problem that we have is that we are searching for the breeder that we had before and are having no luck in finding her. We know she is in Quincy, FL and I have been searching all over the internet for her with no luck. If anyone out there can help, we would be very grateful.

Hi Welcome to YT.
Run don't walk from that breeder... Yorkies don't get lethargic from ear cleaning!!! That poor pup probably needs a vet! and for her to tell you that shows she is not honest.
Post the name of the breeder you are looking for on here and maybe some one can help you find her. Also there are lots of good breeder here so maybe you can find one you like here.
Be careful where you get your puppy from. If you smell a rat you know to run!:animal37

Oh, we ran alright. She even showed us all of his vet records and everything looked fine. She has a total of 10 dogs in the house and he was the only one that was like that.

I think the breeders name was debbie and I know she has horses also but I can not for the life of me think of the actual name/website we found her on.

Ii is like a kid in a candy store, you want what you want and you just can't wait to get it.....I hope we find our baby sooner than later.

You were SO smart to run run run!!! Gee, if anything, that baby should have been running and jumping after getting ear drops, that's what mine do:laugh: They try to rub their ears on everything:rolleyes: I hope that that pup gets the medical attention it obviously needs:(

Anyway, I just wanted to wish you good luck in finding a new baby. There are a lot of great breeders right here, if you go down a few boards there's a for sale forum;)

Wouldn't your breeder's name and address be on your dogs registration papers?

Yes they would but since my mother moved to South Carolina with our Sammy she has not been able to find the papers:(

Seems like if you Google Yorkies will take you to list and you can find local town you purchased from breeder you liked. I wish I had run from breeder that lied,lied about almost everything. I just ignored the red flags because Yorkie was so cute!!!! I let my emotions rule rather tham good sense. Good Luck

Yes, I did all of that and still can not find her :(

I will continue the search for her and keep my options open for finding our new baby from another breeder.

Well, here we go again....we went to look at another Yorkie last night and when we walked in the door he just barked once and ran and hid for about 20 min. After that he would just stare at you and coward down if you tried to pet it.

Needless to say we RAN as fast as our feet would carry us. The search continues for our perfect babie.

You said your mom had misplaced the papers - well, I'm wondering if you could contact AKC and they could look him up for you & the breeder.

The dam has had 7 litters? Wow, that is a lot. I highly suggest contacting breeders on the YTCA website...there are quite a few in Florida. http://www.ytca.org/breeder4.html#FL

You are doing the right thing. If the pup seems scared now, he may have problems in the future?

That's why it's so important to screen breeders first, before you ever go look at puppies. It's so hard to walk away from puppies even if things don't seem quite right. Unethical breeders count on that, too. How often do members come here after being burned by a breeder, admitting that they are too attached to return a sick puppy?

I FEEL SO BAD FOR THE YORKIE - i hope he gets help - anyone who neglects the care of a yorkie is heartless!!!

welcome to YT...so sorry you are having a terrible time finding your baby...i am kinda in the same boat... been looking for a tiny female yorkie for the longest time...hehe...but i know that when the time is right and if it was meant to be it will be....just like yoshi and kioko(newest addition - hopefully have him home in 4-6 weeks) hehe...good luck!

All paperworks will accompany them to you, But right now I am on transfer to west Africa for the W.H.O (World health organization) conference for the less privileged and orphanage building project with my wife and we have the puppies right here with us, and the reason I am give the puppies out is do to the weather here, and less time to play with them, the weather is not 100% ok for the puppies to play outside in the afternoon and the puppies vet doctor has told me to find a way to get the puppies into a new home and environment as soon as possible, so i will have all the time to work And I hope you are also a loving person with a kind heart for pets that will take very good care of our babies. We are going to send the puppy to you via Express pets delivery or next day pet delivery, I am leaving the puppies for flight fee only which is $300 for each puppy including Handling fee if you are interested in having any of the puppy or puppies, I want you to get back to me with the following information

Between this and bad breeders, I am wondering if we will ever find our baby.:(
