I take my grandsons 4yrs and 11 months to the library every thursday. I found a new book titled Walter the farting Dog. We read it and laughed. My son in law was not thrilled with our choice of books.00P!!:eek: The moral of the story was good,it said you shouldn't give up on things because it may have a problem like that.:DHow can your argue with that?

Both of mine fart (SBD) but, my little boy is the worst. Since you can't hear them everytime he lets one go my husband picks him up, lifts up his tail & checks because he swears there has got to be a little turd there. My husband will sit there searching for 5 minutes until the smell finally goes away saying "I know he just pooped on the couch or behind it!!" Gizmo being all boy is proud and wags his tail & wants kisses.

Never thought I would tell on my Jazzi!! He is a gas detector. If anyone in the room passes gas, Jazzi will "OUT them.", he runs to the person to check it out. Can't say the dog did it anymore!!!

unless i totally missed it, miss buffey has never to my knowledge tooted or burped ;)

bentley let one loose the other night (SBD) and my fiancé and i both looked at each other and accused one another...but alas, it was little bentley (the smell got stronger the closer we got to him LOL)...he did not have a funny reaction though because he did it while he was asleep :p

My Sunshine (RIP) used to fart, scare herself and take off running.
Cash just farts then sniffs his butt and then looks at you like yeah I did it.. so what lol

It always cracks us up when Adie farts or burps. They come out as the tiniest little noises. pffst or br.

We used to have a beagle that would look at us like we were horrible people every time he let one go. He would then leave the room. Blamed it on us! LOL LOL

Oh and by the way...we call it a foofy.

Cody James does the same thing if he poops or farts he has to smell it ... and let me tell ya all this week he has had the SBD (silent but deadly) man it was like an atomic bomb landed...

I just HAD to resurrect this thread~ it's cracking me up (no pun intended! :D)

If I were to accidentally.....on a very rare occasion....theoretically......fart, Sugar looks at me totally offended and MOVES to the other side of the room! :rolleyes:

She looks at me like "How COULD you, you Miss Piggy!" But I apparently offend her often....she regularly will move away from me if I'm sniffing,squirming or otherwise annoying her :D

:D:D:D sammy does the same thing. it scares me too , the smell that is :eek: . i never knew a dog could let out such a thing that hangs around for so long. i think it is natural for a noise too scare them, but it sure is funny to watch. anything to do with their be-hind is curious too them. maybe that is why they have to check out their poop so much when they do their daily job. i tell you, i never knew when i got sammy, how much entertainment he would be. he is the best friend i have and we both love each other no matter what the other one does that is odd or we look like. :love: he is my everything :).

I am so glad you did... this is too funny! :yelrotflm If my Rattie Jasmine farts she looks at her butt and takes off running like she is trying to escape her own fart. hehe. My Cocker Caz is scared of any fart noise whatsoever whether it's a real fart or a fake one. Tobie has silent but deadly farts so I guess they aren't scarey. LOL. His specialty is definitely the loud burping :D
