What is wrong with her? I'm real estate agent and on saturdays I bring my furbaby Apple with me to my office. She loves coming because everyone here thinks she's so adorable and she gets lots of attention. Well today she's been growling at everybody she snapped at other agent's granddaughter  and when I picked her up so she wouldn't bite the little girl she peed on me:eek:   She's never behaved this way I'm so embarrassed. What is going on!!!! She's been shaking like crazy all day:confused: HELP!!! p.s. by the way I forgot to mention she's 7 mos old |
That is confusing and so disappointing, isn't it? Hope someone who has experience with behaviors will have some suggestions for you. I have two tempermental seniors who tend to not like strangers but they were abused before I got them.:( I just gate them when someone comes over and never take them in public other than take them for walks. |
I would go back and re trace your steps for the day to see if you can think of anything that might have happened today to freak her out. If you come up blank, I would call the Vet and run it by them to see what they say. |
are you sure she isn't going into heat? Rainbow was like that when she started her first heat (that's why they call them bitches...lol) |
Yeah, I've been thinking about what we did today before coming to office and all I can think of is that she's still afraid in car when driving so I always put her in doggie bag but today the bag was in trunk and I was running late so I just put her in the front. I did notice she was shaking the whole way. Would that really cause her to act this weird? I know I read somewhere that they tend to go through fear episodes when they are pups - maybe that's whats going on. I'm so upset right now because I've always been to take Apple everywhere because she's so calm. My first yorkie Bebe was very difficult she wasn't social at all and I'm still not able to take her anywhere. |
The only thing that comes to mind is shaking and aggression can be neurological symptoms from toxins building in the brain.:( I hope she's just scared about something but it shouldn't be going on all day... |

What is her favorite thing to do? See if you can get her to do it to try and snap her out of this state, if you can't i would def. call the vet. |

Did this start right after breakfast? What did she eat? |

If she isn't showing blood (as in heat) and this continues, I would go to the vet. Shaking, unless they are cold or scared, is never good. My first thought is her liver. |
They also sometimes behave this way when they are in pain. Maybe she has a tummy upset or gas pains. Ya just never know about these little ones. |
Yeah i know - well she's still shaking and growling at everyone here in office. So i just put her on my lap and wrapped her in blankie she just fell asleep. When she wakes i hope she will be back to normal. Keep your fingers crossed. |
sounds like she might have gotten scared from something. |
