Hi there!
I have been up on the computer and watching TV since 2 AM (it is 6 AM now). Shelby woke up during the night and she had to go pee (Yay!!... this is her first since she has been home from surgery). Then I put her on the couch on a pillow and I sat next to her. Of course, Seymour wants to be with big Sissy so he is on the pillow with her... snuggling. :D
This means that DH is in there hogg'in the entire bed and sleeping like a rock...... I have tried to call him a couple of times, but he don't hear me. (I have needed a pee break for so long now, my teeth are floating :eek: )
.... I can't leave Shelby where she is at unattended...... jumping off a couch could mean back to surgery and we don't want any more of that.
Today, I am hoping to get a lttle cleaning in AND maybe catch up on my sleep.
Last week I went to Target ........ wondering about the "cupcake stuff" everyone has been talking about. I didn't see one thing with a cupcake on it. They still had all the winter stuff..... some was on clearance.... but not one cupcake. I may have to check their website.
You all have a nice weekend....... does anyone have anything interesting planned??:)

Sounds like you're taking great care of your recovery pup, floating teeth and all. :p Sorry, that was too funny. You need to put a shock collar on your DH that you can activate from the living room!

Good morning! Glad to hear litte Shelby is doing so well. Patrick & Toto are sleeping like they are in comas .... grrrrrrrrrrrr I hate that I can't sleep like that. :rolleyes: Patrick has revived an old "love" .... B&W photography. He's been on Ebay bidding like there's no tomorrow and found some great equipment! He loves the old "box" camera, etc. I don't understand all that so I'll stick with digital. Anyway, we had planned to get out this weekend and he was going to make "scenery" pics for me but everything didn't come in yet! Drat! We had more snow last night so I suppose we will stay pretty close to home. Have a great weekend! ;)

Good Morning! Glad to hear to Shelby is recovering nicely:) I understand about not leaving unattended - had to do the same with Gabby last summer when the vet repaired her ACL. Was a rough 8 weeks but we made it!!

Came in to work this morning to catch up on some paperwork then headed to Brandon (about an hour away). Youngest son is playing in a baseball tournament this week-end with his high school, first game is at 1:30. Will be at the baseball field until probably 6 tonight.

I'm glad Shelby is doing well.

We are going to do some shopping and yard work today and then just relax and enjoy some play time with the pup. :aimeeyork

Good morning. Just so you know my husband is the same way. He sleeps through everything. I'm like GET UP!!!! So you aren't alone there. I hope your little Shelby recovers quickly and you get some sleep. As for this weekend we have an air show here today so that should be a lot of fun. We are just going to walk over there since it's on base. No traffic for us! Then we are having a yard sale to get rid of some much needed junk! Other then that not much.

Me and the gang ( Penny, Toby, Lily, Tulsa and Brady) send lots of kisses for Shelby and we hope she feels better real soon.
We are digging out from the snowstorm and then later we will be heading to Mohegan Sun for the Home Show and perhaps drop a couple of nickels in a slot, or two. :D

Dedicated mama, you are. Willing to "float away" definitely puts you in that category.:D Get Well to Shelby.:getwellso "This too shall pass" with time, but I know that it doesn't feel like it. Been there, done that.

You are such a wonderful mommy to your babies and I can just picture them snuggling.. We are off to the mall and Target.. I wear Prescriptives makeup and I can only get it in Dallas and I am out!

Off to Dallas ... I must hit target though..
