I think I've had a couple.

Someone on here does something really smart -- after they look at all the new posts, they go back to the earlier posts from that day, and bump up the ones with very few or no responses. I think I'll start doing that. :)

I have had a thread when only one person replied. I think its happened to everyone.

Yep, in fact most of my threads get very few posts! Not sure why :(

Lol, ya, it happens to everyone every now and again. Sometimes things just get quite I guess, or like me, I just read over the subject line, if it sounds interesting, I read, if not, I move on, lol. Don't take it personally, we all just move along at our own pace. They'll be tons of replies to some, and none to some.

One of my threads got bounced down to the 2nd page so fast it went un noticed. Then one person posted a msg and it went crazy from there. :)

Megan I do that some times if I see a thread with 0 posts or very few I try to bump up.;) I think a few of us try to do that.

But sigh...I'm a member of Invisible Thread Club..I only had one it was about does your baby wear bling and I only had 1 person respond.:(

This happens all too often b/c people post in the wrong sections. Most threads get post in general when they don't belong there. I move 50+ threads per day into their correct sections.

If we all made an active effort to post in the right sections and read other sections besides general I really think the problem would be solved. But I've been asking for that for over a year (sigh).

I agree that most posts are not posted in the right forum but I think some people think that if they post in the general forum more people will see it just because of that fact that most people don't bother reading all the other forums.:( But that's just my 2 cents..lol.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Yes, I've done that before and thought, "Well what's wrong with me?":( (Rhetorical question...no need to answer that.;) ) Then there have been some threads I've started that I thought would get a comment or tow that ended up getting tons of responses. (I started one not long ago about my dogs stealing my sandwich and I think it ended up being 13 pgs long or something.:eek: )

i do not post that many new threads but i have definitely felt like the thread killer! :D

i do hate seeing questions or comments (esp. from newbies) go unanswered or have little response so i make an effort to post on those threads :)

I came out feeling like one great big boob:( Then, maybe a day or two
later, someone else does a thread regarding the samething and everyone

I have had this happen... but I think it's more a timing thing. these threads get lost fast!

I like to go to New Posts... all forums are listed there and you can see what you have missed since the last time you were there.:)
