How great!!! Lady called me 3 weeks ago as to her 7 month old yorky having been put down do to the shunt thing... She was in tears as she just could not afford the 3000 dollar surgery... This is what her vet told her and then they told her no guarantee as to it living.. as the dog has something else wrong with it.. She purchased the pup from some one in the UP of Michigan and they would do nothing about it.. All these people that guarantee their pups for a yr only means the pup are not showing signs at that point of their life even when tested... Most shunts don't happen till they are 2.. I replaced a pup when it was 3 yrs old... I had a male that I'd purchased from Sundown Kennel in Ill... The lady was very nice but her dogs were very inbred.. I eliminated that dog from my breeding program.. Many just keep breeding and selling dogs from know producers of health problems.. UGH!!! So glad your little baby is doing well... So sorry for the stress of it all though... People breeding any kind of dog should be more responsible for what they are producing but we all know that money talks and you know the rest...:( |
I am so happy for y'all. How very, very wonderful to hear. Joyce Ann |
re: rosie1 you are so absolutely right.. i unknowingly got bell from apet store..:( and look what happened.. i too could not afford the cost of surgery.. but as some YTers know, i posted about the problem and miraculously someone from YT donated a large sum of the cost.. thank god for that, for that was the only way i was able to get the surgery done.. and i also have a law suit going on with the pet store.. and i am going to give most of the money i get (if we win) to a rescue.. i'm pretty positive we'll win but we'll just have to keep our fingers crossed!! the court date is on 3/21... i won't be getting THAT much money from the store but atleast he will know that he can't get off on everyone, selling dogs that have issues to people... it's the PRINCIPLE of the matter!!! |
That's great news!!! keep up the good work belle! :) |
Excellent news!!!! Sounds like she's on the right track. :) That means you are doing the right thing and being the best furbaby mommy ever! :D |
