I'm going to go crazy. 4 Attachment(s) Andrew (my boyfriend) keeps commenting on whether or not Franklin is full Yorkie. I guess since the breeder has turned out to be pretty shady, Andrew thinks she lied to us about THAT too. Andrew thinks he has a longer nose than he should. Another thing, I think.. is that Franklin's ears aren't up yet (we just now got around to shaving them) and so he doesn't look like all the pictures of Yorkies he's seen. What do you guys think? I've looked at lots of pictures of both yorkies and other mixed breeds (like morkies) and I don't think there's any way he could be anything but. However... I could be biased? :confused: There's no reason to think he's not (in my opinion). He's definitely got the personality of a Yorkie.... and nobody's EVER doubted his full-breed..ness :p until now. No vets, no YTers, no one. I'm meeting with the breeder to get his papers sometime tonight (hopefully. ugh. DON'T buy from Oklahoma, guys). Anyway. I need some opinions. :rolleyes: |

He probably is purebred. When in doubt, do the Wisdom Panel.:) |
he looks purebred to me... his nose might be a little longer than what your bf is used to seeing but tell him to come on YT and look at all the shapes and sizes yorkies come in! We just love little Franklin :) |

Oh my I think he just looks too stinkin cute for his own good. What a love. I think he looks yorkie. My Max had a longer nose then Alphy does and Max also had really long thin legs (3lber). I always thought Max looked like a little fox or a bat but he was pure yorkie. |

He looks full Yorkie to me. Remember that Yorkies do not all look alike. Some have long noses, some have shorter noses, then you have the longer legged Yorkies with the thin body or the short legged Yorkies with the square shaped body. Also, don't let papers fool you. Just because you have a set of papers on a pup doesn't guarantee it's a full bred either. You'd be surprised how papers can be shifted with the wrong parents or it can be as simple as background of the Yorkie. The mother's mother's mother may not have had something else mixed in. Reputation of a breeder is everything and really when it comes right down to it - reputation is all you can depend on when buying. Full or not he is simply adorable. Enjoy him and love him. Elaine |

Little Franklin looks like pure yorkie to me....he is such a cutie..and has come thru a horrible sickness...just love him...and enjoy these baby stages...he will grow up so fast... |
