How sneaky are you?
 
I took Sadie out yesterday, and I couldn't bring both her and Chewy. i tried to make it look like nothing was up but Chewy is so smart... he knew I was packing up stuff to go out... I had my son bring him in his room so Sadie and I could sneak out. it didn't work, chewy knew.
How do you deal with taking one baby and not the other. The last time this happened I started tearing up!!! It feels horrible. Am:confused: I nuts???

I feel the same way, you are not horrible. Sometimes it's just not possible to take them both. I have trained one to know it's time to go by saying "It's time to go bye bye" and the other one knows it's time to go when I say "Do you wanna go for a ride?" I only have to pack a bag for one (I have only one yorkie and one "big dog". The bag is always packed so I just have to grab it and run! So far this has worked.

Good idea, I have to try to make it fair. Sadie is so shy and my vet told me to get her out as much as possible. I think they both need it but taking two is tough. I'll try to use different wording with them and maybe they will get used to it.

It makes me feel so bad when I do this. Like I usually schedule them on different days at the groomers and when it is Roccos turn Sissy goes nuts. She cries the whole time I'm gone which is about 15 minutes.

i completely know what you mean. pretty much pheobe always goes wherever i go.. except work. but it gets so bad with my big boys that they pretty much go EVERYWHERE too!!! not kidding, I have a huge truck and the extended cab is 100% dog territory. i dont think anyone has sat back there except the boys since i got it. they even ride back there for long long trips like our 9 hour trip to WI for xmas.. people at the drive thru restaurants thoguht we were nuts.

anywho point being... I CANT HELP YOU.. HAHA. i thoguht i was amybe going somewhere but apperently im pretty pathetic.. :cool: oh well...

Isn't that just the worst feeling! I feel the same way when I go away for a trip and leave both of them! They see a suitcase and they know and I swear they just look at you and make you feel like total dirt!

I'm not good at sneaky....they know. Actually Ramsey knows if we are going out period...with or without her. She will run and get in her crate. I wanna go! I wanna go! If it's closed she'll paw at the door to open it.

Taking one without the other...the one left home is gonna have a hissy fit.

Mi knows the diffrence if we leave for work or we are going else where with out her... I can leave for work and not hear a sound out of her from the other the side of the door.. But man let me have to run to like Winn- Dixie where she can't go and she will howel and cry by the door I don't know for how long but i can hear her all the way to my car:rolleyes: .. These little furry butts are so smart LOL.. I have yet have to pack and leave her home i don't think she would know what to do with her self:rolleyes:
