Its funny how people call you if you have a ad out for your puppies.. They want to TRADE for "BIGGER DOGs" This little girl just called me and said
My mom wants to know IF you would TRADE a yorkie for a Pit Bull: (excuse me) EMMM Hell NOOO. I had a lady call my years ago asking me did I want to TRADE for a Diamond ring...EMMMM NOOO. I just dont get it..lol Why on EARTH do you think I want to TRADE? See this is WHY you DONT place ads. I had a guy try was dying in the next month and he wanted to get her a puppy, BUT do to all her medical bills he couldn't not afford to spend anymore than $50..:eek: :eek: :eek: I told him it cost me way MORE for the up keep of my yorkies and he was like but my girlfriend is dying and this is her wish.. Well Being the cold heart :D person that I am:D ( I thought something but didnt say it and said :D :D :D :D ) and said IF you really love her you will take your $50 and go to the pound and get a baby that need a caring home and he says....lol So you can not help me out. I said IF she REALLY LOVES YOU, she will be HAPPY with whatever you get her and HUNG UP!:rolleyes:

So I cant understand these people.....LOL

That is the down side of breeding. My hubby recently told me I ought to get out of it if it bothers me so much. people can really jerk you around. I use our online paper and puppyfind at times. Almost invariably people will call wanting a free yorkie or to trade something or a really cheap dog. I always tell them sorry, I don't have anything like that, I don't do trades and i don't do cheap but the paper is full of 'cheap' if that is what they are looking for. Mine ain't. Then i say thanks for calling and hang up.

i have an ongoing stud ad for my little Ceeby that everyone on here is wild about. His stud fee is 400. I have had all kinds of people trying to buy him. WTH, can't they read. I even had a college prof. the other email me and say I think 400 is too high for a two year old male and if we can negioate, I will come get him today. Again, WTH is wrong with people. Ceeby will never be for sale and if he ever is, it probably would be a million dollars:p

I can't imagine people trying to make trades for a dog, I have never heard of that.
Also, if you can only afford $50 for a dog, then you definately can't afford the vet bills...move on.

Well when Chewy was a puupy I had a woman ask if she could hold him...i told her our rule was that we didnt allow people to hold our dogs. She smiled and said, oh it's just as well... I have been known to bolt!:eek: :eek: :eek: i knew she was kidding but my goodness!!!

That's my rule now too, I let my best friend hold Henry once, and she went to adjust her bag with one hand and Henry took his chance and leaped out of her arms and fell on his back, poor thing cried for a bit, but he's fine, ran around playing soon after without even limping.

So I don't let anyone hold my puppy anymore, I nearly had a heartattack!, I literally sat there crying while he bounced around chasing his mini tennis ball. thank god he's ok!.




and yea, that's pretty weird, trading diamond rings for puppys? o.o why doesn't she just pawn the ring THEN use the money....

Every day!!!! I have been offered birds, english bulldogs and just the other day, a pair of chis. i should have taken those since that is what kept beating my girl in Group in her show.:D

Not even one person has used him yet! had some inquiries but that's all. Poor baby, no one wants him. They haven't seen his beautiful offspring on here;)

LOL stupid people think a stud dog is for sale? It would be nice if they actually READ the advertisements.

Especially my little Ceeby:eek: Not for sale, no way, no how:)

We recently had an offer of trade for a miniature paint pony! I guess if it is a sincere offer I shouldn't laugh, as I'm sure the pony has value. But what in the world would I do with it???? lol

Now..What makes people think that you want this stuff OR dont already have it???

We have ads in our local paper like that all the time, Always lookig for a trade, The one that really stuck in my mind was..they wanted to trade there yorkie for a CAR:eek: wth, are you serious:thumbdown ..ticks me off.
