how many accidents?? hey evewyone its Wex hewe. my mommy is twying weally hawd to housebweak me i am vewwy tough. i was wondewing, no mattew if uw supposed to weee on pads ow if uw supposed to go outside. how many accidents wud u say in 1 wk?? 1 month?? or wutevew. my mommy is countin accidents now. since monday i had 1 weewee accident, hey i couldnt howd it in...sue me! LOL....Maximus was excellent at about 13 weeks...no accidents..the about 2 weeks ago he started right at the corner..which would drip on the floor!!! He is now 22 weeks, I change the pads after he pees on them 2-3 times depending on how much he goes...but I nticed the first and second time he will go directly in the middle..on the 3rd time that is when he goes to the corner..I think he doesn't want to get his feet dirty??? So anyways I cahnge the pad after 2 times of pee or when I go to work I lay 2 next to each other that way if he pees alot he can go on the other till my bf gets home for lunch and can change them again. He didn't get poop on the pad till about 3 weeks ago..right about when his aim got bad...lol, but now so far so good!! |

Every baby takes a long time...everyone told me Yorkies were hard to train..BUT Maximus did really good with pee but poop...felt like FOREVER...lol, I thought he would enevr get it..lol... |
My girl goes outside, she doesn't use weewee pads at all. She doesn't have "accidents" but will go to the bathroom in the house, where she knows you will walk if she is upset at you for some reason. I guess it is the only way she knows to let us know she is upset. She usually whines at our feet, or runs in circles and then to the door where we let her out when she knows she has our attention... she then runs into her kennel and does her duty, and runs back in. If she poos she gets a treat, and then she runs to the cabinet that has the treats for her (all natural treats by canidae) sometimes if she thinks we are not watching she will run for a treat when she pees ... but we are always watching ;) she usually goes all night without waking us up, except now with this litter of pups, but that is because she is drinking and eating more. |
i havent had any accidents in a very very long time..............ide say hes gone many a couple months at least without having an accident |
I'm almost embarassed to type this...Rika is 16 months old and still has accidents sometimes. Mostly poopy ones but #1 sometimes too. She's been REALLY good this week though. Only 1 poopy accident all week. :) |
Oh Wex, it tounds wike you ae doin good! I am 14 weeks owld. Ebery time I go out tide I go pee pee. Den when I come in....I go pee pee again. If I am by da pad I pee pee on it. If not, well....I firget to go on it! I always poop on da pad, and dat always makes gwamma happy. (Hmmm, maybe if I pee on da pad dat will make her happy too?) I'm gonna twy dat! |

Maximus gets confused outside..he doesn't think he's allowed to pee out there so I have to carry wee-wee pads and put them on the floo when we go to the park...most of the time he still won't go and will cry the whole way home..as soon as I open the door to the house he is off...to pee on his pad, I feel bad for him though :( |

One a Day Piper usually has at least one accident a day. He doesn't use pee pads, which is what his breeder had him trained on but once I brought him home he refused to use them and preferred to go outside. Maybe since he saw the other two going outside also. But just about everyday I find either a small wet spot or a poop somewhere and I become baffled as to when and how he got one past me. He catches on fast though and he holds it all night while he sleeps in the bed with us. Although night before last he had his first accident on the bed while sleeping, snuggled up against my back...was changing and blow-drying the bed at 5 am...but the snuggles are worth the risk :p |
