I was out by the mailbox and i saw a yorkie!!!!!!! i'm happy to know there are other yorkies in teh area, but the owner didnt seem very friendly :rolleyes:

Be patient and keep trying to be friends. I once had a sorta friend that lived upstairs. We would have great conversations, but when we passed - she often didn't acknowledge me, I would just sort of shrug it off. We became very good friends, and discussed it a few years later. She didn't wear her contacts most of the time, and therefore was never sure if it was me or not. We laughed so over that, and I always drove after I found out she was blind. :D

lol........... well i dont think i will be seeing her often...... she is MUCH older than i am (so we dont ahve age in common....... true we have yorkies, but she seemed less than enthusiastic)..... she lives WAY ON THE OTHER SIDE of the complex anyways (and we have about 180 apartments.....) she was a little turned off when i told her i had a yorkie that was around 12 or 13 lbs, but oh well

Well, at least you said hello! You never know where you will find a good friend. But it doesn't have to be everyone. The pups are definitely a good conversation starter. I have a neighbor with a yorkie, too, he is only about 3 lbs. (She is MUCH older than me - and that's pretty old.) She is nice though, they came down to see our new babies.

Get out those personalized YT business cards :icon5: and invite her to join! Maybe that's a way you can become friends. You are friends with all the "way older" people on here. ;)
