So sorry for using the incorrect name :( :( I wanted to apologize for using the wrong name in the post above. I wrote Lacy and it should have been Lexy. |
Still praying for a safe return and a new candle has been lit. Hurry home, Baby Girl. |
you are all so sweet for continuing to pray. I fully believe she is out there! |
Just want to remind everyone that yorkiesmiles had posted this link to the newspaper to post our comments, and I think if we keep posting comments, it will help keep Lexys story current. I posted last night. Sheila http://www.desmoinesregister.com/app...2/1038/Opinion |
If you want to post on the original story that appeared in the paper, I would encourage you to do so. I just checked and Baby Blessing - Patti & Jack posted this week that beautiful prayer that Patti wrote. Here's the original story http://www.desmoinesregister.com/app...=2008802090335 If you want to comment on the horrid letter to the editor here's the link ( the one Sheila posted didn't work for me, so I hope this one will work) http://www.desmoinesregister.com/app...2/1038/Opinion |
Thanks for reposting the link, yorkiesmiles. I don't know why the one I copied and pasted from your previous post didn't work. Sheila |
This morning, I checked and there were no canldes lit for Lexy, I lit 5, so please everyone, light a candle for Lexy. Sheila |
It is with a heavy heart I am so sorry to share the news of Lexy. Some will wonder what took so long to share, but I really felt like this was lzpeaches news to share, but she has been dealing with a lot the last 2 weeks. She had intended to post earlier - besides dealing with the grief, she has been dealing with so much more - the horror of dealing with the girl who was to be caring for Lexy, and the fact that she was packing her home in Iowa up to move back to Michigan. This morning she gave me permission to post for her. She just arrived today in Michigan & will be moving into her new house next week - hopefully in time she will be back on YT. You can PM her if you wish. Lexy's body was found. It is very likely she was hit by a car - she had crossed a very, very busy 4-lane road with turn lanes. The area where she is found is kind of "ditchy" for lack of a better word. So she was probably laying lower than the area between the street and the sidewalk. She was most likely buried under snow for weeks. The paper did another story about 10 days ago. If you read the comments, you will find that you have to hit last, to actually go to the first comment http://www.desmoinesregister.com/app...366/-1/archive |
