Do you Share?! When your eatin certain things do you share?.. I can't help my self but if im eatin my cherrios ill give Mi 2 or 3.. and a PB&J ill give her a little finer tip of peanut butter.. |

I do not share. Hope that doesn't make me a bad mom, but I really do not want any bad habits. Yorkies are hard enough to train as it is:rolleyes: |
I don't share either, although it is sooo hard when they give you the "eyes". I don't want Bitsy to start any bad habits. What I do now though, is when I'm done eating, I always save a little for Bitsy, I then walk it over and place it in her dish. I only do this when I'm done. This way, she sits and watchs me eat without jumping on me, then when I get up, we both walk over to her dish. |
with my last 2 yorkies, I share everything!! Loved ice cream, I have a spoon she licks my spoon after ward!!! But also they were beggar as well. Now with Momiji, I don't share so she doesn't beg. I only share after I finish my portion and take back to the kitchen and put in her bowl. :D |
I sure do.:) Ellie gets homecooked as it is, so I share sometimes. |
I may be the worst as my babies are great with a plastic spoon. I fix my oatmeal and then a bowl for them in the morning. After I eat mine I spoon feed all seven of them theirs. It works out to three bites each. They set in a row and wait their turn:D At night they get two bites each of sherbert ice cream, again with a plastic spoon. It is so important to them and they know it is coming! |
Sometimes I share and sometimes I don't. My babies know that if I say, "No, none for you" that they aren't going to get any so they go off and play. I do not allow begging:) |

I share with certain things like apples or cheerios. Riley has learned what he can have and what he cant. If I'm eating a hamburger or something he can't have, he won't even try to get any.:) |
Yeah thats How I do with Mi.. When i say a firm no she will go pout until one of my other dogs walk by her then she is off to play with them |
sometimes i share sometimes i dont it depends on what i am eating or making for dinner i have created a monster well not me my bf started the habits and now he sees shes a begger and it drives him nuts..too bad he got what he deserves lol..i told him not to cause my parents made that mistake wt their dogs and i hated it but what can u do i give her things that are good for her |

I do not purposely give Scrappy any table food. I specifically tell my kids and husband "DOGS EAT DOGFOOD: PEOPLE EAT PEOPLEFOOD!" over and over and over. However, kids are messy eaters and sometimes they drop food on the floor. Scrappy repeatedly runs around and will just sit under the table in hopes of food hitting the floor. In his favor though, he doesn't beg or bite the kids toes or whine or anything like that. He just sits and sniffs. |
